this will most likely turn out like the N-Gage. a huge failure!
What's with android phones and copying apple's specs(1Ghz, 512mb RAM)? They should try to go above and beyond.
That silver reminds me of my old computer from late 90s.
This. Almost all modern smartphones utilise 512MB. Actually looking at phones being released Q1 2011 it looks like companies are expanding to 1GB.
it's good to know soon phones will surpass my computer
Also it looks really flimsy, like one of those 5$ knockoff things made of plastic that play shitty games.
You mean a PSPgo?
What's with android phones and copying apple's specs(1Ghz, 512mb RAM)? Its significantly better than what I have. Next year specs are going to jump again. Possible dual cores, 1 GB of RAM, etc.
It looks like crap. Like those phones from like 2002 which tried with keypads to make them look good but failed.
tbh, i really haven't seen fantastic 'gaming' on any android phones. i don't understand why they chose to use android and not the same OS as the PSP. silly sony.
What's with android phones and copying apple's specs(1Ghz, 512mb RAM)? Also you can hardly say they're copying Apple's specs when these phone specifications have been around long before the iPhone 4/iPad came out (HTC Passion/Desire/EVO 4G, The Xperia X10's Processor but not RAM etc)
tbh, i really haven't seen fantastic 'gaming' on any android phones. i don't understand why they chose to use android and not the same OS as the PSP. silly sony.
I think that's for the phone part of "Playstation phone".
along with a custom Sony Marketplace which will allow you to purchase and download games designed for the new platform.
Go Dark_Alex hack this shit
What's with android phones and copying apple's specs(1Ghz, 512mb RAM)? They should try to go above and beyond.
Android has been using the 1GHz/512mb combo since late last year, way before Apple released the iPhone 4 or iPad.
Android has been using the 1GHz/512mb combo since late last year, way before Apple released the iPhone 4 or iPad.
well then let me reword that why are the specs so consistently 1ghz and 512mb?
well then let me reword that why are the specs so consistently 1ghz and 512mb?
No real reason to, speeds in Android are fantastic, and are getting better all the time thanks to optimization, new GPUs, etc.
No real reason to, speeds in Android are fantastic, and are getting better all the time thanks to optimization, new GPUs, etc.
A lot of Android phones I've used in stores show a bit of lag when navigating through all the apps menu. Either they need a bit more optimization, or better hardware. I was surprised to even see the Galaxy S show a bit of lag as well.

And a lot of phones aren't optimized, especially HTC Sense devices.
I think that's for the phone part of "Playstation phone".
what i meant is i've yet to see games run completely smooth on android
And then someone will hack the downloaded games so they work with every android device. Yay.
Is this really necessary?
I call bullshit...
Have you been living under a rock? Their has been reports about this for months, not to mention the hundreds of rumors concerning a gaming phone.
"We heard you like phones so we put a phone in your Playstation so you can call while you play." -Sony
Fucking want.
A phone with those specs costs $200 in the USA and I would be fine with paying more money for better specs.
No it wouldn't, it would cost $200 on contract. We are talking about how much it would cost contract free.
Man, I would kill to have that replace my phone. I regret selling my PSP so much.
ugh looks really cheap
Hope it plays PS1 games.
Fake
A no-go for any sane person..
Might get this instead of the iPhone 5.
