Official 2007 Runescape may be coming back - Polidicks

How much is normal membership a month anyway? Still 5 bucks?

$7.95 USD/month via credit cards and paypal I believe.

I checked something because nostalgia makes me want to play this game again. Those who don't play anymore but would like to have a try at it ; You can register an account, pay 2$ for 1 month of membership and apparently the servers will be on tomorrow for those who voted.

FUCKING HIGHWAYMEN! My greatest memory of Runescape was when I first joined and was looking for a bank (way before the starter town, Lumbridge got one). I was trying to navigate to a nearby village to store my things, but I took a wrong turn and ended up in a haunted house where the trees and vines in the front yard would attack you. As I fled with only 1hp left, I came to a crossroads where a highwayman came and killed me in 1 hit. I LOST ALL MY STARTER EQUIPMENT AND COULDN'T DO SHIT FOR DAYS. To this day everytime I kill a highwayman I take his cape and stuff it into my bank as a trophy.

Lot of my old buddies have since moved on from playing RS. Including someone who I had been friends with since the Tutorial Islands back in 2006.

Well I hope it reaches 500k, I might buy a month if it does just to take another look at all the things I loved doing in the game when I was a kid. I quit playing sometime between 2006-2007 so it's pretty much perfect timing. It's going pretty fast right now so I guess 500k isn't impossible to reach within 6 days, guess I'll have to keep an eye on this until then

No matter what system they implement, Jagex will never eliminate bots.

It's hard as shit with the horrible obfuscation system they have now. I liked to mod the client, it was a lot of fun. I never even did it for my advantage, only just to have some fun. It would be really cool to make a custom client too
