So how would your character and all work when you log into the 2007 version? Would everyone be level 3's, or your account stats get transferred to that version, or would it be the account you had back in 2007? Also would the items you have be from the current version or the 2007 version of your account?

Assuming they are going to use the 474 client you could get to work on deobbing a client ahead of time so you'll be ready
I think they'd end up with a greater profit by just reverting it to 2007 runescape with no additional fees and that shit

I just logged in again. Damn it looks different. I can't even wear my rune armor anymore because apparently I have a too low defense level.
I think I played Runescape once ever way back in the day, and then I remembered I didn't like MMOs because after a while they become ceaseless tedium in video game form, so I stopped. Apparently it got a big old graphics upgrade recently or something?
Apparently everything now requires 10 more Attack/Defence than before.

Runescape used to be the shit. Logged in for the first time in 3 years yesterday; still have the rubber chicken from the 2005 Easter event.
Is it just me or is the game unoptimized as hell now? I can run Crysis better on this laptop than I can run Runescape.
I logged in and I can't wear my granite platebody because now it needs 55 defense what is this shit
I figured the Constitution update was enough but for whatever reason I have 2850 HP.
Also I learned the Runescape community is taking this well.

ah yes, runescape of old. My first runescape account was called Halo Man 57 in 2004 sometime when I was about 13. Me and my friend Tom used to play it all the time together when we were at that age. We would always train skills together, fight goblins in that little ghetto house across lumby river, and scam scrubs into giving us their armor to "trim" so we can go and sell it to shopkeepers for gp and split it (we didn't think about trading it to other players for some reason apparently). I stopped playing on that account soon as I entered 9th grade because it was considered the "out" thing to do then so over time, I forgot its password and what recovery answers I could of possibly used for it. It's kind of sad looking at it now because I realized how many hours upon hours and sleepness nights I spent playing it with my friend Tom. He was the person that got me into Runescape then and now I kind of look at its current state and think what the fuck did they do to my childhood game. If he was still around (he was killed in a car accident in 2011) he'd be pissed at out how much shit has changed in it.

Sounds about right.
Spent somewhere between 12-20m back in the day training it to 75 and doing the house up.
Great fun skill. Good money sink as well. Doesnt interfere with those that are not interested in it.
