Actually the prevailing opinion with skilled players is that content peaked ~mid-to-late 2010, with skilling getting lots of good updates and a few shitty ones. Dg was awesome, then they released effigies to cheapen skills like rc. No one misses not having clan chats, not having the ge, slayer being 20k/h, agility being 30k/h, no high level content at all and so on.

They said they wanted to revert it to 2006 but have no backups in that year.

I remember making lots of money by buying a bunch of Law Runes in Varrock in World 2, then sitting in Lumbridge and selling them for three times the price.
Well, this was before they added the bank.
A few years ago I got back on runescape and made a ton of money cutting down trees and selling them on the GE for 40gp+ a piece. But the game wasn't any fun anymore.

holy shit they changed the game a lot. 200 days ago i was merely level 65, I come back and suddenly i'm 105.
the combat system is 80% changed entirely, "abilities" are added, and finally, new mage armor.
though the best part is, i was scammed out of all my money in the first 30 minutes of being back.
it really does feel good to be back in Runescape. :suicide:
This will never get to the goal which gives us no extra fees. I really don't want to be paying a ridiculous price for something that wouldn't receive updates.
