You could vote for the asparagus party and if the majority of people wanted that party then it is what it is. That is the democratic process, and it doesn't make people idiots.
Yes it does. If somebody ran with a manifesto explicitly calling for the complete genocide of an entire race of people (and changing the constitution and laws to permit this), and they were voted into power by a majority of people I would have serious disrespect for those persons and would treat them as such.
Not sure why it is okay to talk about Americans like this, when it is completely unacceptable and intolerant to talk people from other nations in this way. Just from the points you made it is pretty clear that you are completely incapable and hostile towards ideas that conflict with your own. You aren't ever going to convince anyone of anything by acting in this way, you are only going to get support from people who already share your views, which makes what you said here.
What do you mean it's okay to talk about Americans like this but not other countries? Many countries in the world have idiots who vote on idiotic proposals and introduce idiotic laws. They ought to be called out whenever possible for being terrible. I don't think you realise that I don't give one toss about making sure the feelings of obvious scumbags are kept safe. I'm stating what I believe to be the truth in blunt and honest statements because that is the most effective way. People remember these points precisely because they're so biting and pierce through to the heart of the issue instead of dancing around the issue like the transvestite I saw last night.
completely untrue, unless they think in the way you do they are just going to think you are acting like a dickhead and dismiss everything you have said.
Well if they assume that I'm wrong because I'm a rude bastard well, they're just people whose opinions are swayed more by anger than reason. then again if i want to convince anybody outside of america that trump is a terrible person, i just have to play an unedited video of him talking about his ideas
Gonna shamelessly steal this from a thread a few months ago: I'm not one for scissoring but I sure do appreciate two cunts going at it :v: Cameron is right to call Trump divisive
In other news, Britain is committing political suicide after Trump's elected the Republican representative. Good one Britain, slumber more into the dark ages than you already are after the EU scandal.
so if he wins the generals, how will this affect UK relations with the US?
All depends on what Trump's con really is.

Anyone with a brain can tell that Sobotnik is calling Trump supporters idiots, not all Americans, and that if a majority of Americans would vote in Trump, then the majority of America has made an idiotic decision.

It's why I've given up on trying to discuss anything real
I'm tired of this safe space political bullshit.
Without "safe space political bullshit" you start getting an insane us vs them mentality about politics and where people get hysteric and think the world is going to end if the person they are against gets elected. There is a reason why Trump supporters have been attacked and violent riots have taken place at Trump rallies. He hates Americans and routinely threatens to sail the British navy over here and recolonize us. He probably sees Trump as the biggest threat to rebuilding the New Empire.
That sounds a lot like Donald Trump to me.
There is a little bit of Donald in all of us.
That sounds a lot like Donald Trump to me.
so what you're saying is that it's ok for donald trump to speak the "truth" (his brand of it anyways) even if it causes upset and discomfort, but it's not ok for me to speak the "truth" (my brand of it anyways) because it causes upset and discomfort? donald trump has insulted just about everybody under the sun using words just as harsh (if not harsher) than my own. what gives him the right to say this but not me?

It seems like no one see's the other story here with Clinton vs. Trump. Clinton is a very experienced politician. She can lie like a bear skin rug to other politicians. Trump is volatile. He is the sulfuric acid of this political chemistry set. Except he has some how managed to eat through his glass container and react with a vat of sugar sitting below.
