Given the right director and writer, a Hotline Miami film could work pretty well.
Could you imagine Quentin Tarantino's Hotline Miami?
I think I could actually really really enjoy this.
The Super Mario Bros. movie wasn't even that bad. Compared to some of the shit we've seen in the past 15 years, it's at least enjoyable.
at least it took 8 years for them to make a movie of it
five nights at freddy's isn't even a year old yet

The fact that this doesn't exist depresses me.

So basically all the scenes with the pigman in Hotline Miami 2?

Yeah, but with Steve Buscemi instead of Martin Brown.
markaplier as the security guard doesnt sound that bad.
I'm gonna go ahead and say no. Markiplier is a fairly entertaining fella, but that's on the internet in a video in his own habitat. Him as a actor?
Just no. He isn't really trained for that even by experience.
Perhaps Dale as Security Guard?

He does make live-action stuff with other channels every so often. He's not completely inexperienced. He just does better in comedic situations rather than tense and/or horror bits.

If his FNaF video is anything to go by, the sound technicians would probably take one look at the solid thick rectangle of a waveform and commit suicide.
When the credits roll they need to show footage from all the LPer's on youtube screaming as you leave the theater.
and the last one be CR1T1CaL

This video caused me to click a related video that's just gameplay of FNAF, never seen that before, I now no longer understand the hype around it or see how it's a scary game at all.

It looks like it plays out like some kind of flash game or something...

It's a pretty tense game series, as in once the scare factor is gone shit literally turns into overdrive and your finding yourself with a challenging management survival game.

Felicia Day is someone else I see that way. Some people are entertaining when they do their thing their own way, but when you try to fit them in standard movie or tv formats they don't do work well.
