I would like to see some commercials like this for things I could afford.

This won't sell one more BMW. People don't buy them because of stupid advertising, they buy them because they want to show their neighbors how much money they have. Even if they need a cosigner and name the house as collateral to pay for it. Because, you know, your car can't look shabby next to the neighbor's.

Being exposed to a ton of advertising only makes me less inclined to buy that company's product. And because of this I don't really want a BMW.
