Yes, but there will be a brief admittance test.
1) On a scale from peasant to serf how poor and inferior is Westchester to all of Connecticut?
After answering that, we will reply in five to seven business centuries.
I'd say low 20's.
I heard on-average it'd be $16 an hour.

Why do I get the impression that you're one of those "Take back the notch!" types.

No, no, the notch rightfully belongs to the Massholes now.
Why is my state surrounded by states with higher minimum wage?
:I
Is it still hard down there to get a job? I practically got hired on the spot for $19/hr plus benefits.
Now my pay's gonna jump from $8.70 per hour to $10.10 per hour! Woo
Hopefully when I get a full time job I'll make more than this but for now this is awesome.
Here it's just 3-4$, you should move what is left of your industry here.

By 2017, by 2017...
Is it too late to move?
I am one of the unfortunate people stuck in fucking Indiana, a state that doesn't even have the decency to keep policies, but actually moves backwards.
If you take Connecticut's human development index rating and compare it to other nations in the world, Connecticut is the third best place to live in the world, only after Germany and Norway.
[sp]But don't come here. We don't want you peasants. Just kidding.[/sp]
I love CT, except for the super restrictive gun laws, but that's just me.
Either way, time to get a job to take advantage of this new found money. When you know, the thing takes effect.

You'll see a minimum wage increase before this anyway. The minimum wage became $8.70/hr this January and will rise to $9.00/hour next January.
That's still only half of what they want to set the minimum wage in Switzerland
Amazing

A big sudden jump in a minimum wage can have pretty bad results for companies, I think they handled this just fine.
