Screw. You.
you're just mad he's right :smug: [editline]08:12AM[/editline]
Had the word republican been replaced with democrat and obama replaced with bush you guys would be on the entirely different side of the debate, and rightfully so.
uh, no.
Then you're just wrong all of the time. [editline]03:13AM[/editline] The President answers to Congress, not the other way around. For a member of Congress to show disrespect toward the President is entirely within the purview of their interests. That is part of why they exist. While their primary job is legislation their secondary job, in conjunction with the Court, is keeping the Executive in line. Those two jobs are heavily intertwined in that Congress tells the Executive what it's going to do every day.
Nancy Pelosi must be doing something right to be staying in her position for so long.
k and?
And in a state that condones free speech, there is NEVER a wrong time for a branch of government to criticize another branch of government. That's why we have branches of government. "The wrong time" doesn't exist. It's always the right time for dissent. That's what makes our country great.

I disagree with him, but I feel if he thinks what he says is right, he should let the president know. But not while he's addressing congress.

You can disagree, and you can chastise him at whatever point you feel necessary. That is as much your right as it is his. That is assuming you are in the United States. And are a Congressman.
He rather would have get laid for a change :p
The President of the United States of America is a public icon, why not make your opinion public?

I doubt he's ever reviewed it, unless it was bullet-listed to him by his little cronies in the White House. The president said that the bill did not cover illegal aliens. Wilson was very much involved in the process and had been aware of the legislation that pertained. He knew better and voiced the truth.

Why are these Americans so afraid of 'socialism' and all the 'evil and tyranny' it will bring to the glorious freedom-democracy of America? I can't help but feel that all the people against this just lack the proper knowledge.

Given it's a piece of shit for a great great great great great great great many reasons. [editline]09:45PM[/editline] It's cool how people call the opposition uninformed when you haven't read the bill yourselves.

No one has differing opinions on how much to sacrifice personal liberty for the sake of egalitarianism or anything. As for the healthcare bill, however, many people are just misinformed. Every fucking time I hear the phrase "death panel" I roll my eyes.
the healthcare bill will kill my already dead grandma

To be honest why would I even read the bill because I don't live in America i.e. none of my business. so yes i'll stop posting regarding this
Well, the senator has explained himself. Not to mention he's been in a committee that deals with the illegal alien eligibility - President Obama certainly hasn't been on the committee, has he?
