But yes, usually buying cocaine is not the most economic thing to do.

I can't even imagine what a ton of cocaine looks like. Also the problem with cocaine aside from the fact that it is very addictive is that what you find usually isn't very pure. You have no clue what it is being cut with half the time. Decriminalization isn't about having cocaine sold at every corner store, but is instead about ensuring that people are at least safe while using the drugs, which they will find a way to get no matter what. Also cocaine can be used responsibly fyi. As someone once told me "if you do it once every three months it won't really hurt you."

They just use it for special occasions (their birthday and NYE for example).

One is a 4.0 student going on rotations in Hospitals in a semester.

They should, and often do have random drug testing in hospitals so at least that helps.
