I can why people use weed, but not cocaine lmao, overexpensive garbage.
I dont wanna do porn, but im not as foolish to think i can call all porn actors 'dumb' because i dont want to do it...
Well I mean the addicts lounge is a hugely popular thread in GD so are you actually that surprised?

Oh, but your assumption had so much base!
I could actually make a bingo out of what the drug users say on facepunch when drugs are discussed.
A guy said a stupid statement, guy called him out because it was. In fact, stupid.
You for some reason decide to go for the attack for some reason (??)

You must not be fun at parties if you don’t wanna do a anal scene then.

That wasn't an attack. I already explained my stance on Blizzerd's statement.
No, hes implying the kind of person who is very judgmental about someone's possible substance use probably doesn't have that much fun.
Thing is i actually did work in the adult industry, i thought it would be an easy way out of my financial situation, then decided it wasn’t for me.
The fact that it wasn’t for me does not mean its not for anyone.
Coke can very well be a safe way to have a good time for some... i don’t have to have done coke to know that, and calling it dumb blindly makes me think that guy has more judgement where that came from.

This isn't even remotely comparable. Starring in porn is an alternative/extreme occupation and lifestyle sure, but it's something that people are paid to do, and is actually very clean and safe, unlike prostitution in some circumstances.
Cocaine is one of the most addictive substances on the planet, and cannot be obtained from a regulated source, meaning you have no guarantees about the safety or purity of it. Even ignoring those risks, you know that it's dangerous to consume it because it puts your heart under a lot of strain. Like with every recreational drug, it comes with risks, and you have to decide for yourself whether the potential benefits outweigh the risks. Personally I don't care if someone wants to do cocaine, but that doesn't mean I don't think they're idiots for doing it, or that the decision to do cocaine isn't a bad one.
Working in porn is a bad example because there's no legitimate criticism for that, apart from a morally righteous one, which is a weak argument because porn actors aren't harming anyone so they should have the personal freedom to act if they want. Cocaine on the other hand, even when consumed in the best circumstances, is still addictive, expensive, and dangerous to your health.

Many states have laws requiring periodic testing and the use of condoms
eg. California has some of the strictest, its either monthly testing or maybe weekly testings

I believe they're talking about drug use being clean and safe... unlike prostitution
It's basically impossible to get any legit cocaine here and theres a solid chance anything you do find is cut to shit.
Let me guess, you never have fun, ever.
I meant to say that acting in pornography was safer than prostitution, although I didn't have any sources to back up that claim. Not sure why but I'm struggling to find any decent information about laws requiring frequent testing of sex workers, but I have learned a lot about the AIDS crisis in porn.
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/06/health/porn-and-aids-a-history.html - Overview of history behind it
Then I found a Guardian article about another AIDS scare in Nevada in 2014. The article makes mention of the 2012 Measure B act in Los Angeles which requires the use of condoms in penetrative sex scenes, and also how that caused the industry to just move out of LA. There was Proposition 60 in California, which would have made that requirement state-wide, but Prop 60 failed to pass when it was voted on in November 2016. It seems like a lot of performers actually opposed the requirement, such as Stoya and Tasha Reign, who has suggested that it's a women's rights issue and that is also "anatomically impractical".
Anyway, the scary thing is that there's actually a lot less regulation than I expected, STDs and AIDS are still huge concerns in the industry. I can't help but feel that prostitution would be even more vulnerable to these biological threats however, since it's straight up illegal in most places. Obviously, I've only looked at the pornographic industry in the US as well, and even then, more specifically California, so I would imagine that it's safer in some places, and it would make sense for prostitution to be safer also, if legal and regulated.
Just to clarify again, I wasn't actually the one trying to compare/contrast pornography and drug use. I think it's a real bad example, and the point I made about pornography being safer than prostitution was only to further illustrate that choosing to consume dangerous and addictive substances is not the same as choosing to act in a specific entertainment industry.
