Hmm. Possible nuclear war vs actual nuclear war. Guess we are choosing the latter if we continue to do nothing.
Im curious as to what would happen if they tried to call for a draft in our current political climate.

Will literally never happen.

We already have the means to intercept ICBM's from NK, and we wouldn't use them on NK anyways. People need to stop pretending NK is going to cause the apocalypse.

Way too many people in reserves and being turned away from entry for a draft to be necessary, even if we enacted a ground war against NK, which is hugely unlikely.
Too much fear mongering over NK causing WW3, they're estimated to have 15-20+ nukes, so they can do quite a bit of damage, but ultimately they would be turned into a glass parking lot if they attacked anyone and they know it.
These threads are pathetic. I bet at this moment USA has a submarine in Kim's bathtub ready to strike, and a counter measure for anything NK could developed in the next 50 years. Or maybe all those billions that should have been spent on the defense budget went for booze and hookers and maintaining their Windows XP PCs ?
somewhat unrelated but interesting nonetheless, NK's OS is actually Linux that was meant to look like XP, for some reason; nowadays it looks like OS X's UI.

Oh neat, an Operating System with built in keyloggers, RATs, and back doors :v:

Well that's a load of my mind, an insane dictator has apocalyptic weapons and if put in a tough enough situation would more than likely use them.
You say you have means to intercept ICBM's, yeah great but not all nuclear devices are ICBM's?
I am saying pack your shit and enter the bomb shelters here I am just saying it's not like you should rest easy knowing he has these capabilities, his Dynasty were always provoking the West. Shelling islands, [sp]cause why not right?[/sp] firing missiles into economic zones. Even Potentially causing an air to air collision with their tests.
Lesser reasons have been used rev up a war machine (yes I know they are still at war, kinda makes it worse really)

They could cause the global market to crash if they went full blown retard. That would cause some damage

I've been thinking of this for a while now..North Korea's threat to the USA is "a merciless blow" if I remember correct. In the grand scheme of things, it really would be a merciless blow to launch nukes at all your enemies, knowing they'll glass you in return...and cause the global market to crash.
That would hurt more people than any bomb, it would devastate society more than radiation, and the effects would be felt much longer.
