Jesus Christ, at first this seemed like a hilarious troll, but after reading a bit more about this guy and finding out that he's legitimately autistic, I feel extremely bad for him.
And once this Kickstarter drops like a bomb again, it'll come back in a few months with the exact same premise and promises. He'll just keep re-adding his MS Paint fantasy until the day Kickstarter goes offline.
My guess is it should only cost $1500 to make his dream come true.
Who wants me to help him make his dream console?
Agree or disagree.

I doubt giving this guy money will do any good for him in reality, his kickstarter and video just shows you how out of touch of reality he is. Unless he gets professional help which his parents should had sought for a long time ago.

I mean for me to make it for him, like I said a few pages back. I'll do it all out of pocket- I'm no lordofthefat.

I understand you mean well, but I feel that it would be best not enable this sort of thing.
There's plenty of legitimate well made kickstarters out there that never make, just because this guys disabled doesn't mean he deserved it more.
Aand back down to 55$.
Unlike on Indiegogo you can remove pledges at any point, iirc.
Part of me thinks it's some guy from /v/ having a laugh at all this. Mostly because triforce in one of the pictures.
Newfags can't triforce yo.
Oh wow, it's at 505$ now. It may actually complete.
He's going to be disappointed when they reject his patent application.
He's going to buy video games for the $500, are you seriously expecting that he will realize his ideas with his poor grip of reality?

Considering he actually published that book? He's more likely to go through with it because of his poor grip on the reality of engineering.
Oh my god, Why am I laughing so much...

Im Going to hell for this...Now I feel like udder shit.
I hope one day he actually gets the money he needs but he needs to be more reasonable with his planning.
I have 51 Facebook friends. I don't see how having 32 is a big deal?

cause if you dont have 1000+ freinds ur a faggot and a looser!!
Funded! This project was successfully funded 7 minutes ago.
I didn't back it, if someone here did it would be nice to get updates.
He lives in St.louis? Holy shit, thats like 30 minutes north of me, I should go high five him.
I'll save up some money and buy one if it hits the market.
Easy promise to make.
People have too much money to spend
Who knows, maybe he'll come to his senses when he's laughed out of the patent office.
It's amazingly sad on how retards loves to blow their money on anything remotely edgy on kickstarter nowadays.

Don't see how it's edgy. It's just giving the kid some pocket money after the effort he showed with his book. I bet he's bouncing off the walls right now with happiness.
I'm kind of on the fence about whether this is serious or not, even if he is autistic
"Cyber-Stove" is a little too surreal for something that's not a joke
Holy shit, this really hit home.
I also have a form of HFA, albeit a less severe case. So, when I read through those messages and watched the video on his Kickstarter, I felt terrible for him because I went through similar things. I completely understand his mindset: with all the time in the world, minimal socialization, and obsessive interests, he probably labored over this idea for a long time.
Unfortunately, due to the way people with ASD's tend to think very technically and use abstract concepts, he overlooks the impossible implications of the project. That is why he keeps re-posting the same campaign. He doesn't see the problem. It's all there in his head, so he doesn't get why people think he's a joke. He thinks everyone else can visualize his ideas exactly the same way he can.
I feel bad for people like him who get laughed at for something they are genuinely passionate about. Sure, his idea is objectively absurd and will probably never work out, but he doesn't understand that and never will. He just can't think that way.
I hope he can one day get a programming job or something, doing what he loves. Because under his disorganized and misinformed ambitions, that's all he wants to do.
I know that feeling just as well. I just hope this guy realizes that it isn't all that easy.
Ou ya, I'm excited
Someone take his computer away
He hasn't made any facebook posts about it.
Why would people actually fund this, like I don't wanna be mean to the autistic kid but look at it on a more pragmatic level: This console isn't going to get made. It's going to pockets. Fine from a pity perspective, but think about all the other autistic kids not getting ten grand.
I'd buy one.
