armoured fucking lambo
From seeing stuff like this first hand, it isn't uncommon for people in Asia to replicate vehicles. Actually, my neighbor had a fully-replicated Land Rover complete with custom suspension and the like. It's quite common in the Philippines especially with the US Jeeps from WW2. They turn those things into makeshift busses. Actually, my grandfather and dad built a WW2 Jeep from stainless steel and put a Datsun motor in it. It's a mixture of ingenuity, poverty and sheer drive to be creative. As a kid I rode one of these "things" from the burbs and up into downtown Manila
In The Dark Knight the fancy car that Bruce drives late in is a Lamborghini.
It was a Lamborghini Murcielago (which means bat in Spanish :) )
My dad's friend bought a car with a fake Ferrari shell and a Hyundai engine for about fifteen thousand in China.
To be honest, it's impressive that he got that far. With a bit more work he could actually make it look a lot more authentic.
Looks like Batman left his keys in the Batmobile in the middle of a Gotham ghetto.
Chinese are so fucking cool I mean, first the guy who augmented himself, now this? Chinese confirmed for master race fabricators
Honestly, he could make it look really close to the real thing.
The replica hasn’t been completed yet, the Daily Mail reported – the vehicle is still missing headlights and windows. But the car is otherwise ready to hit the road, and can hit speeds of up to 250kph.
Holy fucking shit, 250KPH? Nothing in my driveway will do that, and it's all factory made! Mad props to this guy, a true gearhead if ever there was one. Can't afford a sports car, so he just builds one, and it will do proper sports car speeds. I wonder how the handling and braking is.
He should keep the ratty look. As a replica it looks amazing, but as a Lamborghini it looks shit. Emphasize the replica aspect.
I've seen a lot better replica kits before. This really isn't all that great.
Looks like a trashed lambo to me. Impressive for one man work.
There was a better one made a while back, China again.
Wow that looks cool as fuck, reminds me of a Hot Wheels toy or one of those futuristic depictions of cars that look like armored trucks.
Chinese are so fucking cool I mean, first the guy who augmented himself, now this? Bet if China had enough money to educate everyone, and promoted more innovation rather than copying, it'd be a second Japan.
It looks more like a batmobile of some kind :v:
The Reventon was the Batmobile once... and for good reason.
