In which case they're both pretty extreme atheists. Either they they're both arseholes and their ideologies are fucked. As much as I despise what they represent, I do like churches, burning them down doesn't help anyone.
Extreme religism and extreme atheism both are comparable to Nazism. As soon as you demonize a group or culture and want it dead, as extremist religions and atheists typically do, you border on to Nazism.

The Nazis didn't try to abolish religion...at all. Hitler was brought up as a catholic and had respect for the religion mostly, though at times he had his complaints and thought it foolish. A few high-ranking Nazis were catholics, and the Catholic church actually did nothing to stop the Nazi's reign. In fact, it's highly likely that Odessa, the organization that smuggled Nazis out of Europe after the war, was lead by, if not was totally, the Catholic church. The Nazis were led by religion, just not mainstream ones, and their actions were not in any way against religion, just simply putting Germany first. Eradicating Jews was a racial/ethnic issue and not one of religion.
