There was a gay rights parade in my city not too long ago, not gay myself but I showed up to show support because hey, if it's what you want you should be allowed to do it. I got hit on a few times, boy was that a bad idea. I think I'll give them a thumbs up from a distance now.

The #1 fear of these hatemongers seems to be that gays want to "live their gay lifestyle" on account of THEIRS (having sex in public places, hitting on everyone, wtf kind of other shit they think gays do). The truth could not be further. I have tons of gay friends, and they're the nicest of people. They don't hit on you (you tell them you're straight right away) or grope you or any other shit. The point of it all is that gay people don't want their lives to be socially shunned spectacles - it's only understandable that one would rather not be looked down upon, so they aim to change their standing. Equality for all, that's the point.
