for the weird chao things you could raise, wasn't there some super secret ones in the gamecube version that you needed a gba and a gba cable to get?
what are they going to do about that?
cus i'd imagine they'd do a hd port of the gamecube one, as opposed to the dreamcast one
Memory serving the GBA interaction was a port of the VMU interaction the Dreamcast version had, although I still don't know how they could do it on Xbox.
Apparently near the end of the Sonic 06's development there was a computer crash at SEGA, they forgot to keep backups so they lost a lot of work, but because people were demanding an anniversary game they couldn't delay the release and had to rush to recreate what they could. Resulting in an unfinished game. You can actually see, if you look back at early trailers of the game, and compare the scenes in them to scenes from the "final" product you'll see they were more complete in the trailers. As I said though, this doesn't fix the voice acting, or the story, at least they managed to save the OST so it wasn't a total failure.
I hope Sega learned their lesson and keep backups now

It wasn't even a port, it was a total remaking and improving of the VMU and Dreamcast, I fucking loved connecting my GBA to the Gamecube and playing with my chao
I still remember the last thing I did with my Gamecube was transfer my favorite Chao over to my Gameboy cartridge so that it could become immortal
What if we could transfer it using the XBOX Live app, or have SEGA release a "Virtual VMU" app for Android/iOS

That Chao Karate fuck with the apple on his head, fuck him.
I still play this on gamecube from time to time.
Getting all the emblems is just impossible even if you have a guide.
I still consider it my greatest accomplishment in gaming to date.
Chao Karate Super Difficulty was fucking brutal... Plus getting through the final level where you use 5 people. In 1 life. With a time limit.
I spent more time in Chao Gardens then I did the actual game.
Spent hours upon hours trying to get a Chao Hell.

Motherfucking Chao man.
Loved this game, just had fantastic music and decent controls for a 3D platformer, which was the biggest plus for me.
