I deleted my CC info december last year, is that stuff still on the server somewhere or am I safe?
They probably keep it like the massive idiots they are
I deleted my CC info december last year, is that stuff still on the server somewhere or am I safe?
I'm pretty sure, even you delete your info it's still there.
All this from just removing OtherOS. Also all the raids of PS3 modders houses.
At least I never used my credit card on my PSN account. I knew that something like this could possibly happen. Prepaid PSN cards master race prevails again.
Where does that fuckin lil twerp george hotz live? sum1 should fuckin kill his lil nerdy ass. Whoever did this better back their bags, run like the lil rat you are.
Good thing I never bought anything from PSN and just had GT5 Prologue that I got a code for. Still, this is pretty unacceptable. Sony's gonna have to heave out some compensation for this.
I doubt all of this info will make it out, but that doesn't really mean much. Sony shouldn't let stuff like this happen to begin with.
Sony's gonna have to heave out some compensation for this.
A dildo.
What really happened: Somebodys derpness made them SSH into the PSN servers, to notice the password was "password" Seriously though, this was just a ticking timebomb, after those little babies Sony's been this was bound to happen
The Data Protection Act should force them to remove data when the subject (you) requests it. If they haven't, you literally can sue their pants off and win.
:golfclap:Good job Mr.Hacker

I hope a class action suit is filed soon, I'll be joining. Why the fuck was my billing address stored as plain text
Lawsuits, ahoy!
Dang this must hurt the company
It's not sony that I care about it's the 75 million people that have their shit at risk.
75 million? Where'd you get that number from?
75 million? Where'd you get that number from?
A few other sites have reported that number is the number of PSN accounts. EDIT: It appears that the actual number is 60 million according to Sony.
They do. You accepted the Terms of Service.
I don't think the Terms of Service covers en masse leaking of personal details.
