You're seriously out to be an asshole, you call me stupid, but I really hope you realize your inability to see through someone else's point of view makes you the idiot.
You're the one who possesses an inability to see through someone else's point of view here, you know.
If the attacker has any sense, they'll extract a tiny amount of money from each of the accounts they've got the details of - as opposed to clearing a few accounts.(assuming of course their motive is money. If not, then there would be no point in doing any of that.)
Personally I wouldn't want a PS3 at all after all this shit.
I wanted a console that wasn't expensive as fuck and loud as shit, and that had exclusives that were actually worth a fuck coming for it. Sure, the 360 is $100 less (already own one anyways) but there's no way in hell i'm paying for live. This thing's going to be my main console from now on, I already like it a hell of a lot more even with this PSN bullshit.

As lax as Sony appear to have been so far they aren't going to let those responsible get away.
You're the one who possesses an inability to see through someone else's point of view here, you know.
says you
Seriously, what the fuck Sony? This kind of thing happened a few years ago, just not as bad. People are supposed to learn from their mistakes, and when you're a multi-million dollar company, you wanna make damn sure this kind of thing doesn't happen. Hopefully those PSP games I downloaded years ago don't compromise me.

Any out of tue ordinary withdrawrals would get my attention quickly. I seriously am considering a second account to keep money in when I know I won't be using it for a while.
They're just going to get transaction denied :v: My cards don't work anymore. Bank went under and so did all the members.
http://us.playstation.com/support/useragreements/termsserviceagreemt/ I wonder if there is anything in there about if you can sue if you account info is stolen on Sony's watch.
I'm pretty sure there's something in there about compensation for the downtime, but I don't think there's anything regarding suing them over the stolen information. The Data Protection Act might do some help but that's only if the lawsuit is filed in the UK.
says you
Hey, I know I'm thick-headed at times so that's stating the obvious. But uh....
I really don't see why nobody else finds what sony did was fucked up. I really don't
And he says we should try to open up our views to him?
IMPORTANT QUESTION If you have never used PSN to purcahse anything from the store, did you ever enter your credit card details at any point?
Your bank went under???
Wachovia went bankrupt in December last year.
They're just going to get transaction denied :v: My cards don't work anymore. Bank went under and so did all the members.
Ouch, I hope you didn't suffer too badly. Did you at least save some money out side of them? I guess what Sony is having done to them is Karma paying them back.
Sony burned alive GeoHotz because he cracked the console. Makes me wonder what kind of witch hunt Sony will launch as a result of this. :v:
Fuck they have my Credit Card info. But who cares. I depleted my Game Credit Card with the purchase of Portal 2 and the Nintendo 3ds. But im pissed at Sony.
Ouch, I hope you didn't suffer too badly. Did you at least save some money out side of them? I guess what Sony is having done to them is Karma paying them back.
When I heard they went bankrupt, I helped speed up the process.
Good thing I only used PSN cards at Wal-mart, I also gave them a fake address. :buddy: And having PSN down has actually given me time to finish the Red Dead Redemption game.
ahahahaha oh my god sony just can't catch a break can they
Well Shhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttt. Good thing the only peace of private information is my inactive email account.
ahahahaha oh my god sony just can't catch a break can they
They earn everything they get. I can't wait to see what happens after this stunt.
eh, if you're not paying for PSN+ don't expect much in the way of compensation for the downtime
Yeah, I'll be surprised if the PSN+ users get anything more than a free month.

Well the credit card that's on my PSN is deactivated, so i'm in the clear. Still I find this to be a ridiculous situation and I hope Sony can have the PSN back up soon so I can play MK9 with my buddy.
