Considering the GOP controls the House and the House has to decide to hold an impeachment vote before it can go to the Senate for trial, yes, yes the GOP plays practically the entire role in ensuring such a vote has no realistic chance of passing. 2018 could shift the balance, however.
It literally depends on how the outcome goes, If what if the whole russian money in GOP is true, Then there is a chance that they'd be forced to impeach otherwise maybe half GOP get's taken out of congress. We are literally dealing with legal and political unknowns here.
i wonder if the investigation will finish before trump's 4 years end, considering how huge it is
This was a bad post and I'm sorry. Please allow me to clarify my position further. I believe that until Mueller finishes his investigation, the (absolute) positions "Trump did nothing wrong, re-election incoming" and "Trump obviously colluded with Russia, impeach now" are both wrong in the sense that yes, there is strong evidence stacking up against Trump but at the same time, there has been no official trial yet. My only hope is that when the time for that comes, it will happen and not be obstructed by Trump/the GOP. I just don't see the "clearly" part What? I like the fact that there's a republican president but I'm not a t_d level fanboy. If I could decide the Republican nominee in the US I would have probably picked Chris Christie.
Christie? You mean this Chris Christie? Or do you by chance mean this one? Or how about this one? The guy is almost as self-centered and petty as Trump is, he would've fared no better.
So are we prepared for what seems to be Russia's Backup Plan, to cause maximum chaos in USA?
