The state fair's vendors have been locked down for years. It's almost impossible to become a vendor.
when you have almost zero black vendor owners, there's some degree of how representative the state fair is towards the minorities in the state

Clearly the solution is to inject a racial issue into something that has nothing to do with race and throw a tantrum until whitey gets kicked out. Quotas are fucking stupid and racist.
guess their state fair wasn't such a great state fair.....

What? Is this supposed to be a pun?
What you're talking about is quotas. Even if their policy isn't racial at all, they must have X% of black vendors or they're in the wrong. You want them to either kick out venders that they've had for years, or lose money, so that they can check the box of having black people.
That's against US Supreme Court rulings which state that polices need to be colorblind.

Nobody said anything about instituting quotas. Just that if the proportion of vendors isn't roughly reflective of the demographics, then there is probably some sort of inequality in effect. Maybe it's time to examine the policies and see if they're (unintentionally) discriminatory.
You're not going to change the state fair. End of story. People have waited years to get a vendor spot in there (and most make their entire living doing this). If you want a spot, get on the waiting list.
Its all about the money. They dont give a rats ass what you are.

Except that the "discrimination" has been easily debunked (within reasonable doubt), and unless evidence suggests otherwise, there is no need to spend god knows how much time and money launching a full-out investigation of the vendors at a state fair.
The march was completely undirected at the fair and more at the police. They used the fair for publicity

That too. This protest is another BLM protest first and foremost. The state fair concerns are explicitly secondary.
But I mean even when BLM are protesting and co-operating with police they can't win, apparently.

What are they gonna do, give a 20% off cupon to black vendors?
There's literally no reason to expect businesses to be representative of the demographics of an entire state.
Their black population is fairly new, so there probably aren't many established vendors in that small new group, no reason to expect a business to kick out vendors they've dealt with in the past for the sake of giving some one else a shot.
