Holy shit, reading the comments on those news articles hurt so much. People blaming the officer for this situation, and not the father.
Family is not pressing charges.

They have no legal basis to press charges to begin with. They'll take it to civil court where they'll be paid an undisclosed amount of money and this will never be talked about again.

Police Officers shoot to stop. It's why they fire until the suspect is no longer a threat not until they're dead.
