How did the animals stay posed like that without falling over after they have died? Also, didn't the egyptians use natron when they embalmed their dead?
That's actually pretty cool.
The end times near. Repent to Sigmar before it's to late.
it kills the birds
Just some dead birds.
That is really fucking cool
kvlt
all my life i have never heard of such a strange lake
There are some strange things hiding away in the dark heart of Africa. A lake turning Flamingo's to stone is kind of different.
This is some SCP material here.
Most black metal pictures I've seen
It's like Medusa's lake

God DAMN it, Medusa!
This is a lake of Medusa piss, it has to be. I don't blame her, though, I like peeing in the water when I'm swimming naked under a moonlit sky too. It feels good.
Stick dick in lake, gain a rock-hard stone of a penis for the rest of your life.
Something something constant mind-numbing pain, infection, blood disease, necrosis, amputation.
who cares when you have a rock hard penis 4lyfe
Something something constant mind-numbing pain, infection, blood disease, necrosis, amputation.
And thus the idiots cannot breed.
And thus the idiots cannot breed.
drill hole on the end of your rock dick, you can breed more effectively than idiots who don't have permanent rock dick
These birds are posed!
An imbalanced pH corrodes all body tissue, slowly eating into the 60,000 miles of veins and arteries like corrosives eating into marble. If left unchecked, an imbalanced pH will interrupt all cellular activities and functions, from the beating of your heart to the neural firing of your brain.
How come all the web thinks that this is real? They might be impressive pictures but there's no magic involved. Pretty much dead birds posed. Not that far from those people that pose dead mice. The only difference is the location and the strange decomposition thanks to the ph level of the water (around 9,5-10, really high!). Egyptians used a similar alkaline solution for mummies

I just wonder what the bottom of that lake looks like.
I just wonder what the bottom of that lake looks like.
Well, it's no more than three meters deep. Dive in and find out! It's totally safe, pinky-swear!
Real fucking cool
The pictures look like someone used a filter on them
Imagine if you were an explorer and you came across this... That would be so weird and creepy, even more if you knew Medusa from Greek Mythology.
What's crazy is that this lake probably would've been some super special mystical magic lake that turns things into stone in some ancient scripture or mythology.

My grandpa used to use a method that turned tarantulas or dragon flies into stone, frogs as well. I wonder if it was somewhat the same method the lake is using but intensified. Really neat stuff.
