It's not even that, but by having a VERY successful producer/writer on one of your "comeback" tracks is definitely not a risk at all.
Pharell was never a great singer, but his name is very prominent in modern r&b. It has been for the last 10 years anyway. :v:

Too hyped. Might just be the fact that it was a radio edit, but I really did not get much more than what was teased. There's also that one part in the beginning where he just stops singing all of a sudden then continues after a few seconds. Thought that was weird. Good song, but I actually like the remixes better. (the ones before this one)

to be brutally honest "get lucky" sounds like a watered-down track from discovery. and "lose yourself to the dance" sounds a bit like "face to face" with a more generic chord progression and melody. i'm betting it's the one they collaborated with todd edwards on

I think I read their name came from a review by a magazine that called their really early music (they used to be in a more instrument-based band) 'a load of daft punk'. They liked the phrase, so when they started a new project they used it.
