nice in a city.
what city is this?
Can't say i'm psyched for crysis 2. Probably because my computer isn't strong enough :/ I hope it's more optimized than the first game
I hate it when people say that, you would have no idea if the game was 'optimized' or not. Inshort: Stop using that fucking word if you have no idea what you're talking about
Isn't this going to bed on Xbox? [editline]12:46AM[/editline] wait going to bed? fuck i'm tired i meant going to be
sexbox live
I see your two and raise you this EPIC GODDAMN PICTURE.
This is going to be great!
Great renders, how exciting
The exciting thing is that it's probably not.
Well at least there were humans in those pictures. That was the funnest part of Crysis (although fighting aliens was cool, fighting the Koreans was definitely superior). I hope we will be able to take advantage of the vertical aspects of a city as well.
Vertical is limited by about 3 stories in the game.
You're going to need to back that up son. Considering the capabilites of CryEngine I don't see why you should only be able to go three stories up. That's ridiculous.
Well if this is going to be on consoles then I guess it wont be too hard to run.
And no one will be able to run it.
If I can run crysis on very high, I can run this.:worship: [editline]10:57AM[/editline]
Nothing special, just found a screenshot, that has something similar.
This could easily be a new meme :D
urrrr everything is rendered you rems, you're probably on about pre-rendering
First Crysis was only piece of art. Gameplay was not so enjoyable, but graphics were. They just wanted to show how beautiful graphics they can make.
I'm getting this, but mostly for the new sandbox. The gameplay looks a bit boring.
I can't imagine this game would be harder to run than the first, since a city wouldn't (I imagine) have nearly as many polygons as a goddamn jungle.
I'm getting this, but mostly for the new sandbox. The gameplay looks a bit boring.
You can tell how the gameplay is going to be by looking at two screenshots? Wow
Oh I get it. They're going to turn it into AvP. Americans/Koreans/Aliens
No they're going to make it Predator 2 with Danny Glover. You get to be Danny Glover.
I hope there's some civilian interaction. That should be fun.
If this isn't a render or heavy post-processed, then, man. It looks like it's going to be sweet. Sweet graphics that is, but that is what Crysis is. It isn't action, fun, story or anything. It's graphics, and it delivers.
I found Crysis fun.
It was fun to play around with it's physics, and to see it physics fuck up, like flying tanks and infinitely rolling tanks that won't even stop when a building stands in it's way. To stealth behind Koreans and snap their necks, so to say, and throw them in the water. Run around like a madman beating the shit out of everything. But it quickly loses it's charm and fun and just becomes another typical game because it has nothing groundbreaking to contribute with, it has no story to support it with, and you're just doing what you've done in every other FPS before with small differences.
It has plenty of story to support it with. That's the whole idea, that between the graphics and the story you have a Hollywood blockbuster that is also an FPS. (With comparable Hollywood blockbuster shitty writing. :D) And I think it's fun to play, more fun than so many other FPS games anyway. Warhead kinda broke it but most levels are nicely open and you can do mostly what you want within limits. Sneaking around is plenty of fun for pretty much the whole game IMHO
I read an article about this in an Xbox 360 UK mag just two days ago. Apparently, you can actually vertically scale the buildings in this game now, and fall from the top of them without taking damaga (at least that's what I assumed when they said "Falling from the tops of these will leave a bit of a crater where you landed."). It's also unconfirmed if those are actually Koreans in NYC, and it's allegedly going to be more open ended than the first game [editline]09:00AM[/editline]
It has plenty of story to support it with. Warhead didn't break a thing.
This game looks fucking awesome. Crysis was great, I hope this is better. Or at least just as good. I'll be disappointed if it looks equal or worse. I want graphics to progress :)
The game looks beautiful. I'll be getting this on day one.
new york sucks
Yeah I'm fucking tired of New York games.
and that's directx11? im disappointed
If I'm not going to have plants to break everywhere, I want to drive my tank through a building, and better vehicle damage
