I understand what you're saying, i do, but then things like this happen.

I'm just saying that it's not always the best thing to just sit back and let other people deal with a problem with the mind set as "it's someone else's problem.
Holy fuck what.
Read the edit later in that post and my posts later in this thread. I completely used the wrong words and phrasing. I left it there purely so it doesn't look like I suddenly edited my post.

arresting a bunch of muslims for fostering hatred at a community rally isn't going to stop random acts of violence from happening
best thing to do is let them do their thing and let police officers kill them when they do bad muslim terroristy things
So maybe if you opened your eyes just enough to see a picture, you'd understand that maybe their protest isn't even as innocent as far as freedom of speech goes.
k whatever but until the fire damages something besides their own property or someone utters a specific death threat no-one should have the right to silence anyone.
either we have freedom of speech or we don't. it cannot be selective.

you're a racist prick
So we have to wait for them to actually start attacking us before we do anything about it? Why not just nip it in the bud before it even gets to that level? And he's not being racist, it's true, why should someone go to another country and try to enforce their own culture and be completely against the culture in which they live, they should go to a country which supports their culture.
theyre promoting hatred, it's simple, justice served

I must agree with this as it is only logical, but whether it is random acts of violence or not, i'm not so sure. My opinion is that a bomb on board a transit bus isn't random, but a calculated terrorist act.
And most of the time, this type of terrorism is already over by the time the police respond, as in, they use bombs to kill and only the lucky ones are caught before they are detonated.
However, maybe the people doing the bombing are the same people doing the protesting? If anything it seems logical as well. Arresting a protestor and throwing one in jail for 10 years could mean that he doesn't get up the morning after the protest and detonate a bomb in the subway. Of course, if he doesn't, maybe another will, and the cycle repeats.
As a final thought in this, i certainly must say, we've come a long way from accusing people of being spies and sending them to internment camps. Tolerance is a good thing. But just as freedom of speech, sometimes a special exception must be made.
Urgh, do-gooders in this thread make me angry. It's a massive sign of disrespect to our past and present soldiers fighting for the freedom that allows these scumbags to go about their ways in our country yet the feel the need to upset the nation as a thank you.
If they have a problem, write to their local MPs, keep this shit off our streets, especially on a day like today.

Yes, because not wanting to make certain kinds of protest illegal is being a "do-gooder".
Freedom of speech was put there so people could share intelligent opinions regarding politics and religion.
Not so degenerates could chant stupid bullshit just for the sake of causing controversy.
Funny, they protest how shit British soldiers and Britain is, yet they are still living there?
im sure it will be lowered when they feel there "human rights" have been breached
Do I sense scorn towards the "human rights"? If so then you are dumb.
Funny, they protest how shit British soldiers and Britain is, yet they are still living there?
Great mentality you've got there: "No immigrant is allowed to protest! If they don't like it they should just leave!"

No, freedom of speech was put there because it's an important human right.

But they are mostly (including the leader) natural born citizens so its a pointless argument people are making saying they should leave.

I think most just look at them as foreign and assume they came from another country.
This is a good idea, when lots of Muslims get together they can morph into one large Super-Muslim and then they rampage through the city swatting entire skyscrapers over with their bare hands
It's how 9/11 happened, the media lied
Everyone rating this winner is retarded

Muslamic ray guns, you know how it is.
why not ban the veils while there at it bloody pill boxes
why not ban the veils while there at it bloody pill boxes
They already did that in France.
They should do it in the uk as a convict tried to escape through a airport in one
They should do it in the uk as a convict tried to escape through a airport in one
Really, so you'd base it on things like that?
Well let's dissect this here:
1. Let's ban [veils] because a criminal used it in their actions!
What if that logic applied for anything else? Like this:
2. Let's ban [metal pipes] because a criminal used it in their actions!
See the problem here?

I agree that this is questionable but you can't really believe the issue is that black and white. This is an organisation with terrorist ties remember.

They said the same thing about labour parties in the US during the Palmer Raids, because they were connected to Communists.
Well every Muslim i saw did not even show 2 minutes silence and some burned down poppies and chanting words to dead British soldiers so they get what they deserved
Well every Muslim i saw did not even show 2 minutes silence and some burned down poppies and chanting words to dead British soldiers so they get what they deserved
Ignoring the fact that this is essentially one big run-on sentence, I'm not quite sure how to respond.
"every muslim i saw" is by no means an accurate way to judge whether or not a policy like this is a good idea. And frankly, who are they killing by not showing silence on veteran's day? What crime are you going to stop if you throw that kind of person in jail?
So no, they most certainly did not "get what they deserved". If anything they're now going to be disenfranchised.
Well every Muslim i saw did not even show 2 minutes silence and some burned down poppies and chanting words to dead British soldiers so they get what they deserved
That's called freedom of speech you may have heard of it.
Well they should at least not burn the poppies down and chant horrible words about soldiers who risk their life
i hope they get a good beating from prisoners
I agree that this is questionable but you can't really believe the issue is that black and white. This is an organisation with terrorist ties remember.
"glorifying terrorism" isn't ties to terrorists
i hope they get a good beating from prisoners
What is wrong with you?
"glorifying terrorism" isn't ties to terrorists
He's talking about more than just what they do, they really are linked to Al qaeda, he said.
