Why do these people own such expensive electronics anyway if they're so goddamn gullible?

It's be damn cool if iPhones were waterproof out of the box. Like that would be a key selling point for me.
Why do these people own such expensive electronics anyway if they're so goddamn gullible?
Because contracts. I see a lot of people with high end smartphones that they don't need. Sure I am not to decide what someone needs or not but most people use them for texting, instagram and facebook and I am sure that you don't need the highest resolution screen and the fastest quad core cpu to do that. A low or mid end smartphone would be just fine but that's not as ~cool~ as an iPhone 5 or Galaxy 4

Hahaha, I had some idiot come up to the counter yesterday with this problem. I couldn't even fathom how someone could be this stupid, and the angry idiot wouldn't leave because it says it was covered under warranty on the ad so I had to call my manager over to make her leave. Being a Geek Squad agent kind of makes my day a little brighter when these stories appear.
Windows 8.1 has actually decreased the CPU core temperature by 98%, it's perfectly safe to take your heatsink off and make your computer entirely silent!
Heatsinks don't make noise in the first place. Should instead say disconnect fans.
And here I'm sitting, with my waterproof android. heh.
wasn't there an iteration of the iphone that wasn't fingerproof? i.e. holding it a certain way actually killed the phone signal until you stopped holding it that specific way
