"I don't like the fact that he thinks us white people are trash, because we're not"
You're working pretty hard to prove otherwise.

Isn't Marx one of those terrorists?
I like how Romneys whole drive is the economy for his campaign (as he states), but all his Obama smearing is reflected in this poll as what he's actually worried about. Can politics grow a fucking spine and worry about the goddamn problems we're actually facing that affect this country and the whole world? I didn't vote in a bunch of 60 year old elementary school kids to run this country.
There were politicians like that. Most of them lost their jobs. Republicans are bought out and often forced to assume extreme positions that make Ronald Reagan look like a socialist and the democrats always feel and talk like they're walking on eggshells, and as a result, many of them are walking on eggshells.

Stuff like this makes me punch my monitor, seriously how can people be this stupid, it's people exactly like in this video that do more damage to a country than actual criminals.

I really do think that when white people are more outraged by "reverse racism" than racism, this is the type of conversation they have amongst their peers. Actually, if you get my northern, bumfuck-nowhere Minnesotan relative away from my relatives who live near the Twin Cities and get them drunk, racist shit flies out of their mouths. They generally don't say it in person to someone who looks liberal or non-white because they know what might happen.
And furthermore, I wish people would stop calling bumfucknowhere the "True American Heartland;" most Americans' ancestors came here saying "I want to move to New York and make something of myself," or "I want to move to Chicago and make something of myself," not "I want to move to Brimingham," or "I want to move to Topeka-holy-shit-where-did-civilization-go-ville." If you want to act like you're more American than the rest of us, at least have a history that suggests it.
I would like to go to America and call those 43% "huge pure-bred dumbasses".
you're kidding me right?

This. These country bumpkins, many of whom descendants of people who went to war in the name of NOT being US citizens, have no grounds to claim they're the "true" Americans. People came to this country for the cities, the modernness, not to be stuck in the past. Almost nobody agrees with them and they only serve to slow progress and make the rest of us look bad.
Romney's idea of fixing the economy and government spending is to start pointless, expensive wars with Iran, give massive tax cuts to `the job-creators` and decimate government programs such as Medicaid.
Well, he's got my fucking vote!

I would like to point out that your city life is nearly completely dependent on "bumbfuck nowhere". They call it the True American Heartland because the agriculture and animal domestication hold up this country. They are an invaluable part of the "civilized" society in the cities.
No part is more important than the other, because without one, the other is worthless from the perspective of civilization and culture.

The government can only be as good as the electorate who voted for them. Basically, we're doomed.
Almost half of Romney voters vote for him simply because he isn't the current president?
Ow.

I'm not saying that they don't provide valuable services, I'm just saying that they act like they should be the all American icons, and that the city liberals are unAmerican. And I'm saying that they have no right to because let's face it, the corporations that they like so much that are iconic and important in our society are mostly based in large cities.

Your post was filled with hostility towards those who lived in rural areas. In fact, you implied it when you said "Topeka-holy-shit-where-did-civilization-go-ville". The theme of your second paragraph was how backwards rural areas were, while cities are beacons of civilization. That's the type of logic that states that nations like Songhai, or the Swahili City States weren't civilizations, or that the people north of Greece weren't civilized.
These places don't just provide valuable services, they are an intrinsic part of American culture that has no less value than the factories or artists in the cities.

Small Southern and Midwestern villages that have no agriculture or industry are useless however.

If only there was a place people could be forced to go to and be educated on many different subjects and interact with different people, only to become better informed people that can contribute to society. But as far as I know they only exist in fiction... I think they're called "schools" or something.
Some of those people just make me want to take over the world and eliminate them... or force them to learn.

Where are they? Generally people go where there is work, meaning that there needs to be agriculture, industry, animal domestication, mining, or a prison. One or more of these criteria generally need to be met otherwise there is no source of income for the people in the town, since no money comes in from outside areas. A town cannot simply support itself through stores because that just keeps money in circulation throughout the town without actually increasing money supply.

I'm sorry to say this but, this makes me bomb America to end the utter retardation thats higher than an actual retard.
Sure, you might call it opinions, but those are the most backward imaginary stupid opinions I've ever heard.
Anyone whom isn't at least a high earner and votes republicans is being a hypocrite anyhow,at least economically.

It was a charged post. I have just overheard a condescending conversation between two people at a gas station in the town that I have moved to. I think my tone was wrong.

They work is services to support the community such as medical or working at a Jewel to distribute food, but they don't offer anything outside the community.

Just a basic course in civics and the social sciences should be enough.

And maybe some elementary level math, history, and sciences.
Ok, could we fuck off with presenting straw man insults and acting like anyone who would vote for Romney is an ignorant and/or racist tool? There are plenty of reasons not to like Obama, and usually FP is pretty good about this but right now most people in this thread are acting like his fucking fan club.

The problem is that every time Obama does something stupid, a Republican goes "I can top that!" and then some of us forget what Obama did.
