Sorry teach, it's my constitutional right to have a gun. :v:
Reminds me of the time in 3rd grade i said Lion King 2 has Simba and Nala(?) married and have children
called to principle's office
School policies are so idiotic. I remember my second year of highschool I got reprimanded by the principal for miming firing a weapon, wasn't holding anything, or aiming at anyone, just doing the motions with a friend, and the teacher sent me to the principal, and took witness statements from the rest of the class for that. That same year a junior got the exact same punishment for raping a girl in the auditorium, you have no idea how much I wish I was kidding. Highschools really need to be more in touch with reality.
WAT
"Some children would consider it threatening, who are scared about shootings in schools or shootings in the community," said Bradshaw. "Kids don't think about 'Cowboys and Indians' anymore, they think about drive-by shootings and murders and everything they see on television news every day."
Because cowboys shooting indians is less morally reprehensible than anybody else getting shot
ok
I use to make guns by connecting textas (spelling?) in schools.
dude that shit was created for the sole purpose of making guns
What I don't get is why students, in protest to these stupid zero tolerance rules, don't in mass do something with is both completely harmless, yet due to the school's rules requires they be suspended?
After a few weeks of teachers having nothing to do because everyone in the school is suspended due to their overbearing and bullshit rules perhaps they would realize how stupid they are and change them?
I stabbed my friend for being annoying with a pencil once, no long lasting marks. Does this mean I'll turn in to be a Serial Killer..?
I pointed my fingers as a gun, shooting my teacher, then he started shooting everyone else with the fingers. Seconds later everyone did it.
No fun allowed in the American education systems.
You may have thought that it was fun at the moment, BUT ALL OF YOU COULD HAVE DIED!!
because pencil is a WMD in america
Maybe this is a elaborate plan to slowly make reading against law and make americans unable to read so that they can push though whatever laws they feel like without anyone opposing them because they can't read.
That same year a junior got the exact same punishment for raping a girl in the auditorium, you have no idea how much I wish I was kidding.
What the fuck. Any sane school would report that to the police.
I got suspended yesterday cause I let my friends prank call with my Skype account and they called a teacher at my school, he ended up calling the cops and they got my skype id and contacted the school. They know that I didn't do it but they say they must punish me for allowing it to happen. Back to school on Thursday :v:
Should've used a VPN/Tor.
Has zero tolerance always been a thing? I don't think I've even heard about it before a couple of years ago.
School are getting fucking stupid, hell, next year at my school, they got rid if getting 0's, if you don't do fucking work, its 50% That is fucking stupid. Oh, and if you skip, they give you a detention, you skip that, they don't do shit.
No one is going to be at that school next year.

I have had it at the 6 schools I went to.
I did a research paper this year on why zero-tolerance policies are bullshit and are for "daft delinquents in position of power". Hope it hits them in the nads.
When are US schools going to actually start acting like education centers and not juvenile detention facilities?
Never, I reckon.
kids don't shoot up schools with swords though
when was the last time you read about a "school swording?"
Isn't the most violent school attack actually a knifing in China? Pretty close to a sword..
And I still have a teacher who has (jokingly) threatened students and another teacher who straight up told us he would have no remorse for killing an intruder in his house.
Every day, there is a group of kids who play some FPS game in the library during lunch, and nobody gives a shit as long as they don't yell.
We supposedly have a zero tolerance policy but I have yet to see it happen.

Thinking back on it, I am pretty sure one of my friends was fucking around with a lighter in class. The teacher definitely saw because I saw him looking right at my friend, but nothing ever came out of it.

Wasn't the worst school attack a school bombing?
We need to ban extended graphite containers. Nobody NEEDS to write that much.
How come whenever a teacher does something that slightly pisses off a parent they get fucking fired
But when the principal does something that pisses off every parent of every child in the whole fucking school along with anyone who hears about it, he not only gets off scott free but he still gets to go through with it?
This is what's wrong with American schools. Administration is too highly paid and untouchable. We need a way for parents to vote a principal or someone on the school board out of office.
The highschool I went to was practically a converted prison. No windows anywhere and walls made of cinderblocks.
The high school I was supposed to go to was the same way. You from northern Cali?
Also, this shit is ridiculous.
Someone should add a pencil to this:

I'm tempted to go to an elementary school and do this with my hand.

Just to see what happens.

What is zero tolerance going to help when some nutter comes to shoot the place up? Not like they care.

Heh. There was a fad about Zippo lighters in one of my schools. No one really cared as long as the fire alarm didn't go off and we didn't set fire to something (some teacher got annoyed at the ting ting ting sound everywhere though.) Anyway, one of my friends was refilling his with fuel we had bought during lunch. This being in the corridor, someone bumped him and a puddle of highly flammable liquid formed on the floor
The solution: Set fire to it and let it burn away. And so it was. No one cared :v:
zero tolerance to fun
What does a zero tolerance policy actually accomplish other than making your policy seem idiotic?
If a mad kid decides to shoot up a school he's not going to think twice because of the zero tolerance policy.
Next up: 8-year old student expelled for holding a glass because it looked like he was holding a grenade.
