Yay! Scumlords!
Death count is up to 24 now. Worst building fire in the cities history.
They have received warnings from the city in past in regards to needing permits to hold events like this. They have also received previous warnings in regards to the clutter. All of which was obviously ignored as mentioned above.
The owner above complaining about his belongings might need to start worrying about more than just that at this point.
Also, the Oakland Raiders and Oakland A's are donating money to a fund for the families.
I read a bit into the guys Facebook posts after seeing this, he really seems like a massive narcissist douche covered in a light glaze of free spirited spiritual guru. He personally constructed the mess that caused all those deaths, he should be held responsible for it all. The place was a confusing tinderbox death trap.
Very similar to the station nightclub fire in 2003. Lack of exits, illegally crowded, and the owner did not ensure the venue was safe. Sadly history repeats itself.

That's such a common phrase I don't know anyone from the US who would read that in regards to temperature

I had never seen the video from this fire before today. It's horrifying, at 2:00 when the people are literally jammed solid in the doorway, unable to move. The fire in SF must have been equally horrifying.

Found the robot.
At least 30 confirmed dead now.
This could have been avoided if there were sprinklers, a real staircase, and a fire escape. It wouldn't even have to be less confusing or flammable.
Damn, looks like along with with the lives lost, some cool as fuck things burned down too. Though I don't know how much of it is rare/unique, apart from artworks.
Lot of antiques in there, yeah. I'm spotting stuff from the 1800s on through mid-century and at least one 70s synthesizer. Place was like a museum.
