Because giving them candy will surly get them to speak up about their plans :buddy:
I never said give them candy. Why do they specifically have to go through water-boarding? Normal criminals don't. It's not like these guys have some sort of amazing mental training or something.
Because giving them candy will surly get them to speak up about their plans :buddy:
And thus using physical torture that would not be allowed in any other fucking western democracy is suddenly fine?
the us is an imperial oppressor of the free and innocent
And thus using physical torture that would not be allowed in any other fucking western democracy is suddenly fine?
torture isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be anyway
torture isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be anyway
yeah look at the pain olympics
But water boarding doesn't harm the person in any way. Might scare them a bit into feeling like they're drowning, but it doesn't have any injuries to them.
Maybe not physical, but the scenario of drowning does seem pretty terrifying and could mentally scar you. I hope a similar place opens up, and you get sent there when you're really innocent just so I can hear you say the same words.
About time...
But water boarding doesn't harm the person in any way. Might scare them a bit into feeling like they're drowning, but it doesn't have any injuries to them.
you have no idea what drowning feels like, it is one of the worst things you could possibly experience and they do this to prisoners over, and over, and over, and over, and over...
I drowned once. I feel truly sorry for anyone who died drowning and whenever I hear about one I get a surge of awe and remember the horrible experience.
Except they might not have even done anything. Innocent people have been held in Guantanamo Bay simply due to the fear and xenophobia that has gripped America since the September 11th attacks.
Yeah there were one or two cases, but at the time America were like scared little rabbits, running around trying to act like things were in control.
They still are, and apparently so are you.
They still are, and apparently so are you.
Im not a American, dumass.
Yeah but you're still scared like a rabbit, dumbass
you have no idea what drowning feels like, it is one of the worst things you could possibly experience and they do this to prisoners over, and over, and over, and over, and over...
I know what it's like. My cousins thought it would be funny to see how long they could hold me under the water in their pool when I was 13.
Yeah but you're still scared like a rabbit, dumbass
-Snip- The sand dweller isn't worth my time.
-Snip- The sand dweller isn't worth my time.
What a wonderful retort. :golfclap:
How many years does it take to get a fair trial for the detainees.
Where exactly are these 220 prisoners being detained to?
Obama made a mistake, again. Non us Citizens from other countries, being tried on US Soil, for crimes against Humanity, and America, thats not really US's Job, it will be too easy on them. To be honest, if your planning to kill 1000 people by blowing yourself up, then you should be shot.
But killing thousands of people with cruise missiles and drones is AWWRIGHT! Jesus fucking christ, you little cunt...
Killergam you are so fucking thick it pains me to realize that you actually believe what you say
To be honest, if your planning to kill 1000 people by blowing yourself up, then you should be shot.
None of the people in guantanamo were given trials to prove that they tried to do anything like that in the first place. regardless of what you think the terrorists deserve, you have to at least think that it should be proven that they even are terrorists
Where exactly are these 220 prisoners being detained to?
Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, I believe. Not 100% sure though.
:munch: All we need now is Lankist up in this shit and we're good to go for a shitstorm. [editline]05:57PM[/editline]
Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, I believe. Not 100% sure though.
Leavenworth. A.k.a. where military criminals go.
:munch: All we need now is Lankist up in this shit and we're good to go for a shitstorm. [editline]05:57PM[/editline] Leavenworth. A.k.a. where military criminals go.
I've only read the name of the fort a few times, sorry for the typo.
There was a prison. Some innocent people were put in it, some bad people were put in it. Torture was used on these prisoners. Because of someone's religion or race they deserve to be tortured?
torture isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be anyway
You have got to be fucking kidding me.
theres a reason even why conserative like a John McCain oppose torture, it's because he knows what it feels like. No one who supports torture in facepunch will know the horrors of being tortured because their ass is glued to their chair.
This is another one of Obama's good ideas that severely lack any kind of planning or forethought. The man is like a third-grader who wants a hovercraft. He knows what he wants but damned if he can get there.
The OP is really silly. lol
