do you guys think we will evolve?
Well I just evolved at level 18 so I've got quite a while to go before the next evolution. Fucking level 36 :argh: [editline]01:15PM[/editline]
I'm not sure evolution will work with humans anymore do to our almost full lack of natural selection.
Genetic drift, artificial selection, sexual selection then there is natural selection, it's just limited thanks to modern medicine but only to some degree. Also incidentally we are forcing rapid evolution in rattlesnakes, in the south west (I think) of america especially near Texas, rattlesnakes don't really rattle as much any more, it's became a last line of deterrence for most of them as the louder ones are more easily hunted. So it could be that they form a basic instinct to keep quiet around humans and play dead to some degree before biting, or they may just lose their rattles, which is a shame cause I think they're awesome :ohdear:
ITT: people don't understand what evolution is.

It's so cute :ohdear:
I feel retarded for not thinking of the animal first, but when I read Orca. I also want a pygmy orca.
I feel retarded for not thinking of the animal first, but IMAGE when I read Orca. I also want a pygmy orca.
Have a smaller orca. ORCA Fighter > ORCA Bomber. Though I prefer ORCA [Personell] Transport over them, or if allowed, the Kodiak.
Orcas are awesome.
do you guys think we will evolve?
Some of us never will.
Let's call it the destroyer whale.
do you guys think we will evolve?
Within our lifetimes? Sure. Cybernetics and all.
What the fuck is that from?
Command and Conquer. Not sure what the picture is from.
TD.
Evolution is so awesome.
Not any noticeable physical changes.
Wisdom Teeth - many people don't even have them anymore. They still appear but passing out of the population over time as far as I know.
Species is typically defined as genetically similar organisms that can reproduce to produce fertile offspring. Can you please show me examples of an animal that is able to reproduce, but is the offspring of two different species?
Species is only defined as such in a very very loose way as there is no real line in the sand that we CAN draw in terms of taxonomy. Nature loves to go "Hey, you think you've figured out a way to classify me? Haha, fuck you here's a dolphin hybrid that's fertile!" Scientists only classify like that to keep the people who need to have everything in little tiny boxes happy.

I remember hearing somewhere that some Blue Whales were breeding with Grey whales due to the low population of Blues. Not sure if the young were fertile, but in a few decades we might have Blue Grey Whales.
Evolution happens over thousands of years. It just doesn't happen over night.
God makes things happen overnight, god made us, god made the clothes I wear, god made this computer, as a matter of fact, god made you too. God, god, god, god, god, science is wrong, god. There, now give us money! :v:
I read from a Richard Dawkins book some time ago about a carnivorous species of lizard that was intentionally placed on an island with mainly only plants on it, and within 3 or so decades, the entire isolated species had evolved to have a digestive system more suited to that of an herbivore. I love evolution :3:
