looks like he can be really chill too
That example wasn't even in the fucking ball park. How about a bunch of Jews come up to protest your skinhead concert? You just gonna sit there and let them insult you?
There are skinhead concerts?
Please do not try to paint me as someone that condones violence. You're better than that.
To most, Tyler's response would prove the feminist's point. Of course, you'll never get that in a world where everyone wants to paint someone else as the villain. As Pancake Bunny said, that's exactly what you get at a Tyler the Creator concert. Why will you never see me at one? Because I don't like it. I'm not going to protest his form of entertainment, I'm just not going to partake.
That doesn't make what he did right. that's my point.
Why do I always think Odd Future as a satirical group?
There are skinhead concerts?
Yes
yeah, he kinda would, he was a huge asshole, he would often argue with people about his whole Anti-Vietnam Give Peace a Chance thing. He was by no means a nice guy.
Nonetheless even if he was. Someone supporting a war that plagued all countries involved for a long ass time does not compare to someone being offended by lyrics. A lot of Tyler's lyrics don't have this strong moralistic meaning behind them. It's just him spiting sick rhymes. It just seems like he was offend someone didn't like his lyrics.

Right. But that's the entertainment he provides. Don't like it? Don't be involved.

Tyler isn't serious most of the time, but some of his songs are actually lyrically okay.
Listen to Domo Genesis, Hodgy Beats, or some of Earlsweatshirts shit.
Some of their songs have amazing lyrics, especially Earl's and Domo's.
Tyler is pretty good at creating misogynistic lyrics.

i don't necessarily disagree with that but it's irrelevant.

yeah I know the example is bad, it's late and I can't think about anything relatable
how about this then
you're an atheist, and a bunch of evangelicalist christians come to your thingy (only thing I know atheists do about atheism is debating and that would be a bad example, since the christians would be there to debate)
well you get the point; nobody likes anyone to bash their views, be it fake or real. Just like feminists would be pissed if a bunch of misogynists came to a feminist rally
i don't even know what i'm trying to say

well, you're wrong. if someone bashes your views, you shouldn't just insult them and call them a bitch. it's wrong and you're making yourself look bad on top of that.
Example of good tyler songs would be Answer, Bastard, Rusty, Colossus, could name some others but those are pretty good.
Yea, some of his songs such as "BITCH SUCK DICK" "Domo 23" "Tina", ect are jokes.
i don't necessarily disagree with that but it's irrelevant.
It's perfectly relevant. That lady knew that she might get blasted by the entertainer if she were to protest. If she didn't, she had no place to be there. Feeling sorry for her is a bit silly, even if you do agree with her views. She knew the risks.

Tyler's concerts aren't a rally for anything. These aren't his views. He is literally just rhyming. There is no reason for him to act so harshly to one person because she didn't like his concert. If he wants to be mad whatever. But he shouldn't call her out like that.

Not liking the concert and protesting the concert are two completely different things.

I listen to Tyler plenty. I don't take his lyrics seriously but I don't think it's okay for him to react so harshly because someone is offended by them and speaks their mind about it.

it's just good publicity for him
he's obviously not trying to appeal to the feminists, and the people he does don't care if he called someone a bitch
and he doesn't have to time to have an argument with them, it's a concert. They should just get the hell out and leave. File a complaint, whatever you want. It's worst trying to ruin other's fun because of your ideals.
Not liking the concert and protesting the concert are two completely different things.
regardless neither warrant such an extreme response.
you guys are all missing the point and it's that this is going to sell more records in australia. this kind of insane behavior is his marketing.

How is she ruining anyone's fun? She isn't stopping Tyler from performing or stopping anyone from entering the concert.

Yea, songs have no point to them. Ever.
is it right? I'm not the one to say. t's why they're all fucking rich now, though.
also fuck automerge i do what I want
Yea, songs have no point to them. Ever.
I'm talking about his songs where talks about raping a pregnant woman and calling it a threeway. I know some of his songs are more serious. But I doubt those are the ones she is protesting.
regardless neither warrant such an extreme response.
i don't get why calling someone out is "so extreme"
not like he beat the shit out of her, just called her a bitch
words are just words. If she was that offended, then she has to get thicker skin. Arguments need to stop falling back on "my feelings!"
I get what you're saying, trust me, I do. It's not okay to condone rape in anyway shape or form; but you'r e really taking this a bit too far. It's not going to affect her life in ANY way besides at that one moment.

She's trying to get his visa revoked, so he can no longer play in the country

Pfft, that song made me reflect on life.

It's not just words. This woman is outside his concert okay. To his fans he says "Fuck that whore bitch". He says this because she does not like his lyrics. This is not just insulting but could seriously put her in danger. Those concerts are rowdy as fuck.
