• Impeachment of Obama is on the table of GOP considerations due to his "cover up" of the Benghazi Emb

Would Obama even be the right person to punish for this kind of thing? The Presidency is not an all knowing position. If anyone should be held responsible it should be the State Department for not having proper security at the Consulate already in place. If I remember correctly they actually removed the security teams. I don't see a coverup. Just ineptitude. Consulate should've been protected better. Nearby military should've been ordered to respond. They shouldn't have blamed it on the video. Our Ambassador shouldn't be dead. But I guess hindsight is 20/20.
If Obama was a Republican the right would be deathly silent about this.
There were a good deal of larger embassy attacks during the bush administration and not one of them got anywhere into hearings, let alone a dozen or more centered around a proven time-and-again pointless conspiracy. What is it up to now, 17 or something crazy? The latest hearings have actually been put forth to try and smear Hillary's name around in an effort to make her look bad down the line, should she run for president. Nothing new was added, and people constantly note how some military forces were moved away somehow, but that was like some fighter jets and I don't think that'd be something you could use to stop a ground attack on your own buildings. It's a mess, it's a tragedy, but it's not remotely comparable to pre-Obama embassy attacks at all, nor does he have any blame in the security when all of the reps were the ones sitting on legislation to increase funding or security there. Even then, nobody had advance notice of this so there wasn't really reason to take immediate action to beef it up prior to the attack. It simply happened and nobody was prepared, which just made it worse. hell, half of the conspiracy nuts are still going on about how obama didn't/did define it as a terror attack and they're "covering up that it was a terrorist attack" for various purposes (hiding the truth from Romney to sway elections is a big one), even though they made some official informed statements just a few days after? even got other security advisors in to make their own statements.
Doesn't the president have the right to withhold information for the greater good of the public?

"coverup" lmao shit happens, the embassy was caught with their pants down... nothing to see here.
Is this their primary tactic for getting back into power now? Wait for a scandal to justify impeachment proceedings, and invent a scandal if they don't get a decent one by chance?

Yeah, a bit lopsided.

[sub][sub]oh wait no they lost 5 seats[/sub][/sub]
my history teacher kept yelling about how benghazi is obama's watergate and how he should be impeached and i wondered, "ive heard literally NOTHING about benghazi since it happened." so i checked fox news and fox nation and they were COVERED in articles about "the dems covering up benghazi" this is the same teacher who rants about abortions and said we need to ban immigrants from muslim countries "like yemen" immidietely after the boston bombing
Guys, I heard yesterday over the radio that somehow it was discovered that the CIA was spying some AP Press journalists. Is that right? Could that affect this process?
this is the same teacher who rants about abortions
And the problem is? I do see trying to ban everybody that comes from the same country of a terrorist as stupid, but ranting agaisnt abortion? Not at all. Maybe that's the problem?
And the problem is?
guess it depends if it's a public education teacher or in college. Either way I find those who go on about ANY opinion to be obnoxious and less than professional. Had a teacher once who I agreed with nearly everything he said, still couldn't fucking stand him.
