Yeah that one seems like Liberal would've been the best option. NDP support has certainly been rising, but they seemed to low on the list in that riding to win.
Here, I made this. :v:

(doesn't mean I will be voting NDP though)

Well you fucking should.
Man.
Besides, look at that mustache. I'd want him in power just so the world can be graced with the occasional opportunity to lay eyes upon a mustache so fine. It is the ultimate show of Canadian grace and masculinity all rolled into one moderately-sized nose caterpillar.

You can look at the results of the election once they're released here.
Also, the last public opinion poll lists the Conservatives at 33.9 while the NDP have 31.2
:o
Although I sympathize with the NDP (as I am most likely going to move to Canada), I have cousins in Canada and they say the healthcare is atrocious. They don't get yearly checkups, their medications are expensive, and actually getting treatment for something that isn't in the ER takes months.

Perhaps you should try to get an opinion other than your cousins'.
everybody I know is voting ndp, hope they win
Where's Bllasae? We gotta get his opinion on the NDP's surge in popularity. After all he did say "Canada doesn't want Socialism".

What's so wrong with Socialism? Isn't Sweden run by a socialist government? Look how fucking awesome they are over there.

He probably goes by the Strider* school of thought that Scandinavia is just MEDIOCRE.

it seems that NDP is very popular amongst students. But, In my opinion, although the conservatives have made bad decisions, there focus is on the economy which is very important in this day and age.

And is spending ~$30 billion on fighter jets really a good economical choice?
Honestly, that's all the Conservatives talk about, but it's not the only thing that matters.
GO CONSERVATIVE

Living in Toronto, I've heard the same thing.

The funny thing is our government is already partially Socialist, and has been for quite some time. I guess Canadians do want Socialism, they just know too much of a "good thing" can be bad for you.
Living in Toronto, I've heard the same thing.
I'd much rather live in a country where every citizen is afforded healthcare and deal with longer wait times than have it be privatized and leave the poor and disenfranchised out to die.

NDP's focusing the economy as well.
Going by what all your saying I assume your all young adults.
Why should the hard wroking people have to give there money away to the poor to use.
Thats like giving away your A in a class at school in order to share it with someone who has a C+

No, it's like giving away some of your 500% in the class to someone who was so sick they fell behind in class and did their best just to get a C+.

Not quite. Since you know exactly jack shit about how the world works, I suggest you shut up before you get drowned in hundreds of boxes.

No it's like having teachers spend more time with students who have developmental difficulties than with you

Besides you give poor people money what do they do with it....spend. Then what......they ask for more.

obiously i am dealing with all NDP people here, so ill just leave and wont come back

If you don't get yearly checkups it's because you aren't making appointments for yourself (you can make these months in advance, there is absolutely no problem getting them), medication is expensive because it's not covered by the government (although still much less expensive than the US, and the NDP has plans for national prescription drug coverage), and the only procedures with unacceptable wait times are hip and knee replacements and elective procedures such as cosmetic surgery. In some provinces if you can't get the former procedures done on time the government will pay to send you to a private healthcare facility in the US to have it done.
Conservative victory is pretty much guaranteed in my riding. Fuck Alberta.

Good, come back when you've actually discovered the real world.

Same here, I hope the NDP can pull through without my riding. I'd really hate to see them lose by only 2 or 3%
God I hope to fuck NDP wins.
In other unrelated news, my dad this year went for liberal as he was afraid that it would split too much even though we told him that was dumb because liberal would get a good 50% of the vote in my running anyways. We are right so far.
layton is gonna fuck us over, by spending a shit ton, increasing our taxes. this election is a waste of time, hopefully harper stays in
What? Poor people will be able to feed themselves and I won't be able to buy that new Ferrari? What madness is this!?!
