Terminal velocity in the lower atmosphere is about 125 MPH. At 135,890ft, the air is MUCH less dense, meaning less air resistance, making you fall faster. As he approached ~25000ft he slowed significantly.
Also, I've been skydiving, it's an intense rush. Absolutely insane.
