• Cops seize Occupy Boston’s sink, spawning flood of bad puns

For those asking WHY they took the sink, there is a law in place that states people can't bring things into a campsite that would turn it into a permanent residence. A sink that requires plumbing would fall under that.
I still don't get why the fuck they took the sink. Just makes everything more of a dirty mess than it already is. People need to wash their hands you prick cops.
Mayor Menino said that he'll let the protesters camp out in the Greenway. He will not allow them to establish a city on the Greenway. I don't think a kitchen sink is common camping gear.

I sink that this is excessive.

Of course, that would cause a huge shitstorm.
My family has a couple of sinks similar to that that we rent out to events. In our clients' case it's a health code issue (our clients being mobile food vendors), but for the protesters it would be a matter of simple hygiene and cleanliness.
The cops took the sink because without water people die.

Don't point them in the wrong direction just so they can troll a few people.

The police in these protests are pretty pathetic. I dont ever want to sink to their level.

There's no reason you couldn't carry it around with you except the fact that it's really heavy.
this has sunk to rock bottom [editline]3rd December 2011[/editline] ok I'm sorry for the bad pun please don't stone me :frown:
this has sunk to rock bottom
This pun has dampened my outlook on life so severely, I've had to absorb a fairly heavy glass of water to get over it.

First the police say basinless accusations against the protesters, thinking they can wash away everything the movement stands for, and now this! The credibility of the police has gone down the drain, it truly has. They command, and you bend, or so they'd like it. Although I must say, such wanton thievery can only be a plug for the draining credibility of the movement, which really has been running hot and cold for quite some time. This might let the group tap into the sympathy of the demographic who has felt the pain of having a sink stolen from them.
