As a fun fact, if Trump Jr used that password to access that website, he committed a felony in violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. One more felony charge to chuck on to the pile committed by Trump's inner circle -- one more indictment to turn up the heat on this corrupt administration.
To be fair, the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act is a complete piece of shit legislation that's been lobbied to be downright oppressive. I'm not saying it shouldn't be illegal, but it's completely insane how broad and disproportionate the law is.
So we get fully confirmation we lost Wikileaks. Oh well, time to create a new group to continue fighting corruption, although between almost all the countries made harder to whistleblowers to leak to the public confidential info, and that with the current situation any leaked data is going to be seen as "russian propaganda to damage the West", we are fucked. We knew of Assange falling prey to Russia time ago, but what happened to the other two ( Chelsea Manning and Snowden )? Last time I heard something it was from Manning being freed from total isolation and recieving again her treatment.
You can't really blame Assange for wanting Trump to win when you consider the fact that Clinton wanted to assassinate him with a drone. It's hard to remain impartial when your life is at stake.
That's fake news.

Years ago when Wikileaks first got into public eye I was a great supporter of it. I'm all for a transparent government and all that. Now I just feel so bummed out. Can't believe how naïve I was.

Many news organisations have anonymous and/or encrypted 'drop boxes' you can dump data in.
Snowden went to Russia after fleeing the US, but AFAIK he's just living there.
Yes I know, but outside of two-three conferences he did via stream and the random "well if he flew to Moscow then it was one of them" commentary, nothing more has been heard of him recently.
