There are movie theatres open on Christmas day? [editline]24th December 2014[/editline] I've never known anyone to be like, 'hey let's go to the local cinema' on christmas, just me?
Have you ever heard of Judaism or perhaps Islam?
Sony will reportedly offer The Interview online today as rental via YouTube, Xbox video, and more
http://www.theverge.com/2014/12/24/7423421/sony-the-interview-online-youtube-google http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/6377116
I bought it and downloaded it on Google Play. Ready to stream on Chromecast
just saw it, it was [sp]stupid and tasteless[/sp] The Greatest Movie Ever!
I thought it was pretty good.
3/10 wasted potential good visuals, but that's it. If it wasn't targeted towards 14 year olds, or mentally stunted man children it could be really good.
I thought it was a pretty good movie. But, I'm just a pretty big fan of Seth Rogen and James Franco. To each their own, even though I know I'll get boxes for this. The visuals and special effects were actually pretty nice too.
I would give this movie a solid 5 out of 10. Honestly it was all about that hype. How could any dictator be upset over this film? I dont understand how this movie is a "comedy." The only time I cracked a smile was when the movie finally fucking ended.
Well, I thought it was pretty funny. Probably 6.5/10 for me. It wasn't constantly funny, but it certainly had it's moments. Those of you who can't laugh at what you view as immature humor need to lighten up and learn to laugh at things a bit more, you'll be happier if you do.
I'd give it a 7.5 mostly because I'm into bat shit crazy stuff. The ending was totally worth it too.

After referencing it for half of the whole movie it just got crusty and stale. Personally it was Franco's obnoxious personality that dulled it down for me. They kind of wrapped the concept around Rogen & Franco. It's a personal opinion, but watching it just made me wish I was watching a more serious movie with a more fleshed out plot. This one played out like clockwork in accordance with my expectations, so it didn't exactly get me excited. I'd watch it again, though, if only for the brief well-timed jokes.

The issue is there are dumb action films like Die Hard which do dumb action without being shit films. I'm not saying the interview was a shit film by any means, like you'd I'd rate it pretty much 6/6.5. but if I were going for an immature comedy to watch while high or with my friends, I'd probably pick something that I felt tried a little bit harder

I enjoyed it, but there was nothing particularly noteworthy about the movie itself.

No film should go without criticism. My post was in response to a few people on the front page saying the movie was for the humor-tastes of "stunted man-children" and the likes. Those are the people that needed to loosen up a bit :v:
