You're trying too hard to make it seem like a past President's vote is a trivial matter. It might as well be an endorsement, keep trying though.
Holy shit bush senior is still alive

It's pretty well known that Hillary is disliked by democrats as well, but if, say, Obama or Bill Clinton went "Yeah I'll vote trump" even privately, I'd be very surprised if you went "Ehh this doesn't matter, let's not talk about this".
Knowing what other people think is pretty valuable, and honestly I think Republicans should have a good hard think when their current nominee is actually opposed by one of their own presidents.
there is only one way to complete this election:
1) fbi forced to release all the email shit to congress, lots of spooky evil shit.
2) hillary gets an indictment, gets a pair of irons and a nice orange jumpsuit.
3) trump dominates the polls, democrats freak out as trump appears to have it in the bag.
4) bernie sanders goes "fuck it" and runs as an independent.
5) trump gets debated and his toupee berns to a crisp at all the sandman's epic rebutes and zingers.
6) november 8h, bernie sanders becomes elected as the first independent president since george washington.
7) far off in the near distant future, free college history books cite this election cycle as one of the most interesting ever.
Neither of those were former presidents. That's why this is news. A Republican president just gave the middle finger to their party and candidate
this is true.
i feel though that the bush family is essentially dust in the wind now, so we'll see just how much of an impact it has on voters.
one thing for sure, trump will fire back and brush it off his shoulder, like he always does.
I think you mean how shitty hillary is and how vapid her left position and ties to the people are.

You sound pretty salty to me.
Hillary's a slimy snake in the grass, but compared to Trump's pants-on-head retarded policies, there's not nearly as much wrong with hers. Being so poor at hiding her backroom dealing, it's hardly a wonder that so few people wholeheartedly support her. She represents all that's ugly about the two-party system. That said, most voters in America understand very clearly that while she's a deeply unpleasant woman, she isn't guaranteed to run the country into the ground like Trump is. So he's still going to lose.

That would be good, but you're forgetting that Obama is the incumbent and following any less than desirable reaction on the publics part, he has the authority to declare martial law. He does NOT have the authority to call a mulligan on this election and give himself a third term. It did happen famously with FDR during the consequences of ww2 and how he handled the depression, but we should always be vigilant of those in power ESPECIALLY those that claim extra or prolonged seats of power.
He'll only get it if the people are so fucked and confused in the head that they give it to him. He's enacted questionable policies at best, and while I tend to think I like the dude as a person, I always find myself wondering if that's simply what he's good at. Being likable.
I do like your scenario. Let me give my own.
Bernie vs. Barack

First off you are doing a really bad job of convincing other people this doesn't really matter to you.
Secondly, most of Trump's platform, the vast majority really, aligns with the historic GOP platform and I don't know if you are just trying to sell Trump to people or genuinely believe that.
Thank goodness, prominent Republicans need to continue to take a stance against Trump to make sure that lunatic never sees his way into the White House.
Maybe that is what America needs right now, total destruction before Americans realize they need to reform 2 party system.
I wouldn't vote for the guy that called my son a criminal and shitty president and used those reasons as why my other son shouldn't be president either. This is not a surprise.

I swear to christ someone could post a picture of Trump wiping his nose and you'd show up with an argument about how it doesn't affect the election.
trump could literally stand up on stage, shout out "that nigger in the audience there", do a hitler salute, and half of the trumpites would be scrambling to say how trump was being ironic while secretly agreeing with him
I twas a kiddie but from what I recall he was alright. For one, he didnt invade Iraq when he pushed Saddam out of Kuwait. There were people begging to finish him off. Bush Sr said no, because the mission was accomplished and it would be a major mistake to do more then that. He was right.
His reputation was maybe good enough to get his son elected. Where Bush jr had so bad of a rep that now even his brother cant get elected. You can make what you want from that.
Which reminds me, Bush wanted for US to directly intervene in Yugoslav wars and put boots on the ground. But his military advisors told him that would be a terrible idea and US forces would suffer major losses. He listened to advisors and instead went for limited intervention policy by training and supplying Croatian military, which Bill Clinton wisely followed upon and expanded by providing reconnaissance and air-strike support to Croatian, Bosnian and later Kosovar armed forces.
So Bush senior was wise enough to realize when he was in wrong and listen to voice of reason.

He also has a brass pair on him, he went into negotiations with some rebels in Central America(?) and ordered the Secret Service personnel to leave whilst he negotiated in a room full of armed men with blood on the carpet from the last leaders execution.

Might have to do with the fact Bush Sr served during WW2 and had combat experience. He knew first hand the cost of war and thus was less likely to do something stupid.
thow trump was being ironic while secretly agreeing with him
Obviously he was being ironic. But not that ironic, to be honest with you.
this probably pushed Bush over the edge: According to Reince Prebius, Anyone who would not endorse Trump in the GOP will face punishment, including withholding RNC funds if they decide to run for president.

there was no 22nd amendment during fdr's presidency. do you know anything about your own country?
It isn't. Notice you have people confirming their bias by welcoming bush sr. into their camp without a second thought, when in any other situation you'd have major skepticism and disgust for that old white dude who did shitty things. Ask yourself why a former president would abandon the party that gave him everything for the party that is supposedly completely different. You might find out something interesting like, perhaps the two parties aren't really that different at all (THE [one] establishment) and by supporting Clinton he actually confesses that fact. He would rather pull off the disguise and start bailing for the ship he's in than support trump (a whole different ball game). Because let's be honest, while trump has been a bit coarse and clumsy in what he's said throughout the campaign, he really hasn't said anything out of line with being a republican. If he's switching sides based on trumps immature behavior alone, that still raises more questions. You would support your candidate no matter what, even if they were ted Cruz.
Is it a "union against trump and we'll take anyone who will help your sins are cleansed let's vanquish the demon" or is it just that people become mentally disabled by the mere mention of his name?
I'd argue for the latter, though if it is truly the former then we have trump to thank for identifying, simplifying and isolating the ideas and parts of the country that really are diseased.
Either you're stupid and sip that good ol koolaid they give you on a daily basis or trump is actually the good guy.
Pretty interesting to say the least. I for one think it's delicious that we're finally seeing these crony loser politicians flop around like fish out of water. Of course they're all people in the end and should be treated as such, but in the mean time I say let them have a taste of their own bullshit.
