Reboot was a awesome show! Mainly because of the parody's of other shows in the games, like pokemon. It is also the first fully 3D-animated TV show, AND IT'S CANADIAN. :canada:
But transformers armada and up look stupid with the mix of 2D-animation and 3D-animation.

Halo sucks, anime is stupid = worst thing in the world.
This should compete amazingly well with other anime's, deep story & plotline vs show based off a game about 12 year olds shooting each other and screeching.

There was on the Reconstruction Dvd and it was really good.
Production IG and Studio 4C piqued my interest (IG is responsible for GITS: SAC, and 4C did the Anime Adaptation of Spriggan if I'm not mistaken). This collection of different shorts is reminiscent of the Robot Carnival anthology from the late 80's (google it if you're interested, there were som awesome shorts in it). Althought I'm not huge on Halo, i'd definitely check this out once it's released.

I think cel-shaded 3D would have looked better. However, it doesn't seem to be all that bad.

IS THE IDEA CRAP: Not really, not with the way they took it. It could have been a lot worse.

How can you judge the drawing style based on one picture? Lots of different artists are supposed to be working on it.

How can you judge it anyway? How long it'll thrive? Approval? The idea of a Halo anime being crappy? Believe it or not, but FP isn't the only forum on the internet, there are perhaps hundreds more everywhere, not to mention bungie/net's universal fanbase of Halo lovers. If 50-100 from FP think a Halo anime is stupid, thats not gonna stop it from sucking. On the contrary, others may give it universal praise.
And Anime that is like the ones listed by the artists sometimes rarely use anime generic expressions, and instead focus on spectacular fights and explosive animation.
