Well, it was a specshaqular movie!
This film is terribly over-rated
The movie was okay... Seems like half the reason people even treat it like a gift from Jesus himself is because Anna and Elsa are their dream waifu.
Mostly for the music, actually. The music is what really makes the film. Certain plot details are... Kind of awful, to be honest. [sp]Hans announces that Anna died to the other people, but not before they said their wedding vows. Meanwhile, everyone just decides to leave Anna's body wherever it was, not properly check Hans's wedding papers, or check to see if there's a proper blood descendent. to take the throne. They just let Hans become the next ruler. And who says "Hans, you're the next ruler?" A noble from another nation, the same guy who said "After her!" when Elsa's powers become revealed. Does no one think "should we listen to a random foreigner when he tells us to hunt down our beloved queen?"[/sp] Like I just said, the base plot isn't cliche imo, but a lot of details, blatant ones even, are just... I don't know how they put that through.
Because it's also awesome
I'm literally flooded with Frozen shit.
Sounds disgusting.
This film is terribly over-rated
"I don't like the movie therefore it's overrated"
This film is terribly over-rated
To say something is overrated is such a nothing statement. "I don't like something that's popular, that must be because everyone has shit taste but me."
"I don't like the movie therefore it's overrated"

"I don't like something that's popular, that must be because everyone has shit taste but me."
You're both making the baseless assumption that he didn't like the film. I thought it was alright, I still think it's overrated as fuck.
I'll watch it if someone confirms that is doesn't have a non-cliche story
It's like 90% cliche with a twist at the end. Still a really good movie though, if you take out the singing parts every other conversation. "DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMANNNN"
Why did this movie blow up all of a sudden? I didn't hear shit about it until February and this came out in November and figured it was going to be another shitty non-pixar 3d film
The Let It Go song, if you close your eyes and imagine hard enough, kinda sounds like it could have been it's own pop song. I just don't see it as a real Disney song.
I thought it was alright, I still think it's overrated as fuck.
That's still the same, just because you didn't think it was as good as the general consensus is doesn't mean that it's "overrated", it just means that you didn't like it.
just because you didn't think it was as good as the general consensus is doesn't mean that it's "overrated"
Unless I'm missing something, I'm fairly certain that is the definition of overrated.
i think there might be a little smidget of bias
A. "It's over rated." B. "What the fuck are you on about? It's not over rated at all! Your opinion is stupid!" A. "I think it was over rated. Your opinion is terrible!" B. "Fuck you, it grossed lots of money. Can't do that if it's bad, now can it?" A. "Adam Sandler gets lot of money too." B. "Fuck you, I love Adam Sandler!" Four pages of opinion spewing and a few bans later, nobody cares and the people who don't think it's that great will still think it's not that great, and the people who love it will love it. This is all opinions anyway guys. Don't get your panties in a bunch if someone doesn't like your form of media.
I thought frozen was great compared to the stuff pixar gave us recently.
I'm laughing at this thread because everyone who is in love with the movie has it as their avatar
To say something is overrated is such a nothing statement. "I don't like something that's popular, that must be because everyone has shit taste but me."
You are literally more excited about this stuff than some young fan-girl would be, so.. Idk.
You are literally more excited about this stuff than some young fan-girl would be, so.. Idk.
How do you figure?
I thought the movie was fantastic, but it seems everything that's popular is met with negative undertones by this community.
How do you figure?
It is an apparent phenomenon around the interwebs.. Not with just 'Frozen'
What does that have to do with me? I'm not the one who started up the internet following for the movie.
It's ok to not like the movie but when you start going on about that everyone who liked it just wanted to fuck the main characters you've crossed the line between meaningful criticism and Internet shit flinging.
On the popular note, this is one of the few super popular trends I can get behind. I genuinely laughed at many points in the movie, didn't mind the singing as I usually do in these types of films, and I thought it broke a few cliches. I get the feeling people go out of their way to see the negative aspects of something simply because it's popular at that particular point in time. Why? Is it to seem unique?
I thought the movie was fantastic, but it seems everything that's popular is met with negative undertones by this community.
I liked the movie, but it was definitely a child's movie, and had a few flaws that I just didn't like. The main problem was that it was to short. It didn't give enough time to explain the workings of the country, the people, or the fact that there are [sp]magical trolls that nobody knows about living in the forest[/sp] Had it given more explanations to some of the obvious questions that it raised, I'd be more satisfied with it, but overall I felt it lacking. Don't get me wrong, people love it, and I can see why. I didn't find it all that phenomenal is all.
Frog Princess is still the best Disney Princess story, suck it.
I'm laughing at this thread because everyone who is in love with the movie has it as their avatar
No, you're just assuming that. I really like it, and don't think it's over-rated, and I have Tesla as my avatar. Pretty sure he wasn't a character in that one
No, you're just assuming that. I really like it, and don't think it's over-rated, and I have Tesla as my avatar. Pretty sure he wasn't a character in that one
Don't give Disney Execs ideas. Next thing you know they'll do a line of Pixar "Scientist" movies, with Tesla in their first film
I liked the movie, but it was definitely a child's movie, and had a few flaws that I just didn't like. The main problem was that it was to short.
Why are people disagreeing with this, it really doesn't have a cliche story (for reasons mikeyt went into). What does it have to do to not be "cliche" then, if subverting the typical tropes of a disney film isn't enough.
it plays certain elements differently but the storyline is still cliche as disney flicks go [editline]2nd March 2014[/editline] honestly every time i could feel a song coming on in the movie i was like 'nnnnnn'. i usually like musicals but i didn't enjoy that element in frozen too much
