(that was the most sleepless night I had ever gotten in my entire life)
Damn you polar vortex! It was crazy windy today and fairly cold (-35ish celsius, probably around 70-80 kmh winds). There was literally no visibility on the highways. I saw my neighbor get stuck in front on me. She drove into the ditch because she couldn't tell it from the road. I decided to take her to her place from a different route, where I then end up driving into the ditch too. Then I call my friend to come pick me up/pull my car with his truck, but he gets stuck in the ditch driving out of his driveway (According to him the wind just blew his truck into the ditch, he was okay visibility wise). Crazy night, although thankfully ended up getting my car and his truck out. Fuck that vortex.
My challenger is hating this weather. I push the start button and it goes crank crank vroomerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr VROOM VROOOOOOM
You... You're kidding, right?
This actually reminds me of something last February. I was coming home from the Toronto Sportsmen's Show at the Direct Energy Centre, and there had been a huge blizzard all day that'd cancelled class. As I'm on the Bathurst streetcar I look outside and see some nutcase riding a bike in the snow, which had been and was still falling heavily all day. I fail to understand what goes through the minds of some of this city's cyclists that compels them to ride their bike downtown in a blizzard.
Maybe they have no other choice?
Meanwhile in Alberta, -2 with wind chill. Sucks to be you, Ontario.
All th' boilin oil keepin us warm yall
Even Finland's gotten cold lately.
Just a couple of weeks back it was +5C and raining, now it's -25C and snow everywhere.
I love it!

I'd never ride in a blizzard, but when it's the only form of transportation you have, you make due. I guess.
School is closed when the snow prevents the doors from opening
We didn't have doors
Sweated a bit in the metro. When I went outside, the small drops of sweat on my skin froze.
Yep, it's pretty fucking cold.
The last time school was closed for me was when it was like -40C. I was in the fourth or fifth grade or so, though.
We had snow/ice in Houston this morning.
Car still starts at minus five billion degrees. Take that winter!

Doesnt feel like we've had a winter... just an extended autumn. Barely gone below 0C.

god dammit
I don't even give a fuck. Wearing a full snow suit I venture forth to my bus stop and hope to god my bus doesn't break down.

They shut down everything here in michigan. Fucking drifts are 6ft in some places. My girlfriend came over thursday, and we got such a bad blizzard she was only able to leave tonight, right as we're getting another blast of snow.
This is a stop sign drifted in.

This is a picture showing that snowbanks are now taller than a mid-size car, if any Europeans wonder why us Americans drive big gas hungry cars, situations like this is pretty much why.
