No matter what, you should stop if you have a broken nose. Further abuse to the broken nose can cause fragments to go up into the brain and induce brain damage. I mean, that's pretty rare, but considering tough sports like rubgy, the risk is high.
Its actually a myth. Bones from your nose can never reach your brain due to other bones in the way. Well unless something really really really fucked up happens (more fucked up than being punched upwards in the nose with a palm full force).

I dunno, they seem like to fundamentally different games.

Depends on what kind of football you're talking about.

What's so special about it? That she got a little boo-boo on her face and she still went on with playing the game? ...Wow.
If anything, the game should've been stopped and her taken care of properly, so that she wouldn't spread bleed all over the fucking field. Stupid thing to brag over.
American football and rugby can't be compared.
Totally different rules and play style.
Edit: New Zealand to win the next World Cup again? :)

Totally different games and rules. Football = Armor & Rugby = No armor (bar mouthguards)
