They probably have a nuke buried in a basement somewhere in case the US ever pulls out :v:
As I recall Israels back up plan in the event the area gets fed up with their bullshit and gangs up is basically to detonate their nuclear stockpile and annihilate everyone else.
As I recall Israels back up plan in the event the area gets fed up with their bullshit and gangs up is basically to detonate their nuclear stockpile and annihilate everyone else.
I have to say, I do love living just north of the most powerful and well-armed country in the world. The same country who is besties with a drama whore holding a panic button.
As I recall Israels back up plan in the event the area gets fed up with their bullshit and gangs up is basically to detonate their nuclear stockpile and annihilate everyone else.
I doubt that the current relations in the middle east could assemble a coalition to beat Isreal.
Madrid is not the same as Mandarin.
What do little oranges have to do with this? [sp] I know it's a Chinese dialect.[/sp]
I still don't know what does have to do Madrid in this shit
2004 Madrid train bombings
But we already got bombed once. Why twice?
Not if a dashing young American hero defeats all the baddies and saves the day! How fucking stupid do you expect people to be Israel?
If one country fits the image of a spoilt brat manchild it's fucking Israel.
Soon.
I am waiting for Sobotnik to come in and say something along the lines of "USA deserves it"
Why is it always New York? Why not somewhere farther away from me.
Why is it always New York? Why not somewhere farther away from me.
Population density But yeah NYC being the setting for everything is tiresome.
I am waiting for Sobotnik to come in and say something along the lines of "USA deserves it"
but i'm opposed to nuclear weaponry and warfare
Why is it always New York? Why not somewhere farther away from me.
I hear Madrid is pretty far away. An ocean away in fact. :v:
If only Israel understood how nuclear devices actually worked. If they did they wouldn't have made such silly statements, as a suitcase nuke just is not possible. It'd be far too big and heavy to be practical, and the damage output would be so laughably small it'd just be cheaper to use a large amount of C4 or ANFO instead.

Bit too big for a suitcase, hence the name backpack nuke.
good thing i'm not in new york or madrid
Good thing I live a little more than a half an hour from Manhattan. Don't worry FP, I am going to be the guardian of New York that the city deserves. Miniaturization was a very advanced concept back when it was first being developed and the only people able to develop them are the americans, russians, and allegedly israelis

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_artillery [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/57/W48_155-millimeter_nuclear_shell.jpg[/t] looks small enough fr a suitcase, and that was in the 60's
If a Nuclear Suitcase were to explode in NY I would be dead
Bitch please... The NYPD knows that wallets are far more deadly.
You say that, Obama has a suitcase that only he can operate, it can launch USA's entire nuclear weapons stockpile (the ones on missiles at least)
it's not a suitcase it's a briefcase. suitcase: briefcase: you keep your suits and baggage in a suitcase. you keep your briefs and documents in a briefcase.
I am waiting for Sobotnik to come in and say something along the lines of "USA deserves it"
Am I missing something? I don't get it.
If a Nuclear Suitcase were to explode in NY I would be dead
Maybe not, if you are basing that just on being in the city. AFAIK, most damage caused from traditional nuclear weapons is caused because it detonates in an air burst. A briefcase nuke would probably have devastating effects, but limited in size. All the buildings might help keep the radiation localized too. [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/43/DavyCrockettBomb.jpg[/t] This is the Davy Crockett, if you didn't already know. It is the smallest bomb available on the NUKEMAP (http://www.nuclearsecrecy.com/nukemap/) While it's debatable whether you could get this bomb in a suitcase, it wouldn't take a container much bigger than that to house it, especially since it wouldn't need to be propelled. [t]http://i.imgur.com/QPZVOht.jpg[/t] That said, the damage map from a surface detonation of a bomb this size is rather limited, however it would still be tragic it wouldn't destroy all of new york city.
Israel should of took the 5th and kept shut. As for Iran, that does sound like something them weasels would try to do. Hell it wouldn't suprise me if they would try to their children on board with nuking the world.
That said, the damage map from a surface detonation of a bomb this size is rather limited, however it would still be tragic it wouldn't destroy all of new york city.
It isn't the size of the devastation that would be the criteria with a thing like a nuclear briefcase, it's the target. In the case of New York, for instance, a very viable target would be the NYSE or the UN building. Hit those and you'll have maximum chaos.
The thought of a nuclear suitcase is pretty spooky. That's way too much power in someones' hands.
The actual nuke itself is no larger than a loaf of bread, its been that way for decades. Its like the actual shot from a bullet being much much smaller than the casing. Someone could literally be walking around with a loaf of nuke.
