Am i he only one who cringed when they started listening? You can hear him screaming, like he's scared for his life. God damn.
Why the fuck does neighborhood watch have fucking guns
Because he was a police officer wannabe.
Why the fuck does neighborhood watch have fucking guns
the neighborhood watch isn't some paramilitary organization that outfits all of its volunteer homeowners (or renters if you live with the riff-raff in the poor neighborhoods) with lethal weapons, it's just some guy that owns guns and happens to be an insane neighborhood watchman
can you link to a clip of his voice?
oops
It's in the thread. Do your own research rather than being lazy.

you literally took the time to post "stop being lazy find it yourself" when you could have just helped prove your point by linking to the thread, really?

Yep. Because I am not going to cater to you when you should have at least the intelligence to look through the thread and find the answers you seek.
Just proves you do not read or look into much of anything, you just go the direction of the herd.

lmao someone makes a polite request and you go off on them
you have issues that need working out
welp i spent 10 minutes watching both of the videos posted in the other thread's OP and have yet to hear this fabled audio recording
thanks for the advice that turned out well
I never went off on him. Why should I cater to him when he has done nothing but rate me dumb (Like yourself.) when he has not taken the time to listen to all of the 911 calls or look at all of the articles - basing his full thought on the story completely on what he has read in the thread?

Never said it did. I only stated that Zimmerman sounds younger than his age.
[editline]17th March 2012[/editline]
Also, you listened to a 12 minute video in under one minute? Wow.

wow that'd be an epic zing if it weren't for the fact that you don't need a 12 minute conversation to recognize a voice
It could have been Zimmerman yelling.
Witnesses told ABC News a fistfight broke out and, at one point, Zimmerman, who outweighed Martin by more than 100 pounds, was on the ground and that Martin was on top.
Austin Brown, 13, was walking his dog during the time of the altercation and saw both men on the ground but separated.
Brown, along with several other residents, heard someone cry for help, just before hearing a gunshot. Police arrived 60 seconds later and the teen was quickly pronounced dead.
According to the police report, Zimmerman, who was armed with a handgun, was found bleeding from the nose and the back of the head, standing over Martin, who was unresponsive after being shot.
An officer at the scene overheard Zimmerman saying, "I was yelling for someone to help me but no one would help me," the report said.
It really doesn't matter which of the two it was that did. What matters here is the police misconduct.
Witnesses told ABC News they heard Zimmerman pronounce aloud to the breathless residents watching the violence unfold, "It was self-defense," and place the gun on the ground.
But after the shooting, a source inside the police department told ABC News that a narcotics detective and not a homicide detective first approached Zimmerman. The detective peppered Zimmerman with questions, the source said, rather than allow Zimmerman to tell his story. Questions can lead a witness, the source said.
Another officer corrected a witness after she told him that she heard the teen cry for help.
The officer told the witness, a long-time teacher, it was Zimmerman who cried for help, said the witness.
ABC News has spoken to the teacher and she confirmed that the officer corrected her when she said she heard the teenager shout for help.
Lee publically admitted that officers accepted Zimmerman's word at the scene that he had no police record.
Two days later, during a meeting with Trayvon's father, Tracy Martin, an officer told the father that Zimmerman's record was "squeaky clean."
Yet public records showed that Zimmerman was charged with battery against on officer and resisting arrest in 2005, a charge that was later expunged.
It's not just that they didn't arrest him, their handling of this entire thing is a colossal botch job.
Were you there? Do you have recordings of the victim's voice to confirm that is who it is in the background? You seem to have information that none of us seem to have.
Well other than the fact that we have:
-witnesses of unknown credibility claiming it was the boy
-police of demonstrable incompetence claiming it wasn't
it's fairly easy to say "signs point to the boy", since, you know, least dubious source.
i dont see life without bail as being much better in the moral sense
you're not rehabilitating the person, you're just sending them to endure prison culture and spend the rest of their life going mad in a cell being attacked by other prisoners
There is a point where rehabilitation cannot be justified. Someone like Zimmerman should be locked up for life, not to punish them, but to protect the community for him.
In country's that focus on rehabilitation rather than retribution, it is not uncommon for those who have premeditated or unjustifiable (i.e. no self defence) to be locked up for life.

Wait, can you explain that last bit a bit further?
Wait, can you explain that last bit a bit further?
i.e. that of someone who has no legal defence to murder. Self-defence, provocation (in some jurisdictions, duress etc

he's over 100 pounds with a gun and hecan't fucking outfight him so he shoots him,
he is also much older than him...
Zimmerman is pretty stupid... if this is 'self-defense', then I still think the man is insane and should be punished. Obviously he did something to provoke such a response.
If you read the article, it is open for debate as to who can be heard in the background. Do not just assume. It could be either the shooter or the victim. That has not been made clear just yet.
For all we know (and what I honestly think we could likely gather from what we have. ) Is Zimmerman approached the kid when he should not have. He should have simply allowed the police to handle it (Which they would have found out the kid was simply walking home and would have cut him loose.) But because Zimmerman thought himself of a police officer and allowed the whole Neighborhood Watch thing get to his head - he approached the victim. Likely, from what I can already tell from his 911 call - he probably attempted to detain the kid until the police arrived, which likely resulted in a physical confrontation and eventually resulting in the shots being fired.
The screams for help, as I said and as I read in the article, are up to debate as to who is doing them exactly. It could be Zimmerman screaming for help after he realized he got in too deep. Or it could be the victim. Until more light is shed we can just assume.
Were you there? Do you have recordings of the victim's voice to confirm that is who it is in the background? You seem to have information that none of us seem to have.
That doesn't make it much better for Zimmerman.
I'm not sure about the law in the U.S or in that specific state. But in Sweden if someone tries to illegally restrain you, you are allowed to fight your way out.
If he tries to restrain him, he has every right to fight his way out, in self defense.
Fucking idiot, he shouldn't have been carrying a gun. He should go to jail for life.
Someone said that lifetime in jail is not rehabilitating you.
But how many people that go to jail, come out rehabilitated and can adjust to society? It's not like people want to hire them.
Also, in the 911 call from Zimmerman, you can clearly hear them saying that he should stop following. The 911 dispatcher could hear that Zimmerman had already convicted him in his mind. When he said "These assholes always gets away".
Why do people like this exist? He shouldn't do anything until the guy is in the process of committing a crime. He's not a cop, he shouldn't act on suspicious.
There are many questions left unanswered. In any normal country, Zimmerman would have been detained until finding some answers.
The suspicion of murder is strong. How the fuck can someone walk free after shooting somebody, just like that, self-defense or not? The lack of evidence one way or the other should be a reason to keep Zimmerman in arrest, because otherwise they risk letting a cold blooded killer walk free. If he's really innocent, a couple of months in jail would be a low price to pay.
It doesn't matter if Zimmerman was screaming 'too', a fucking kid died.
how do people like this get guns
like just listening to him talk on the nine eleven call makes it obvious hes slightly weird in the head
Many shots is likely panic, two-three shots is often training, one shot is an execution. (Handguns, not long guns.)
All three should be viewed with scrutiny, but the last should always be met with the absolutely maximum suspicion. A single shot through the heart is extremely atypical for self defense.

it's florida
toddlers have guns in florida
Hung my head in sadness
Police in Sanford initially told Martin's family that Zimmerman had not been arrested because he had a "squeaky clean" record, according to Tracy Martin. Zimmerman had been arrested in 2005 on charges of resisting arrest with violence and battery on a law enforcement officer, according to court records. Those charges were later dropped.
LOL WHAT? How does that make sense? He kills the guy and because of his "squeaky clean" record they don't arrest him?
I didn't know this happened in Sanford. Of fucking course. Sanford is considered the Orlando area's 'ghetto'. It's full of shady people, but it's even more full of completely batshit insane 'FUKN DERN NIGGERS NEED TO GET OUT OF MY STATE' kind of people. I used to live in Sanford, but luckily I'm living in a much, much better area now.

Many areas of Florida are filled with retards. Glad I don't live there anymore.
fucking hell what a piece of human trash, murdering a fucking 17 year old just because he was too much of a fucking paranoid psychopath to let the police deal with something that wasn't even a problem. he needs to be charged with murder to let these fucking moron neighbourhood watch vigilante fuckheads know they aren't the law
I want to become a vigilante just to bring people like Zimmerman to justice. For ironic purposes mostly.
golly i wonder who was screaming: the racist vigilante neighborhood watchman with a gun, or the teenager that ended up dead
Racist? We're going to draw this argument up again? What proof do you have?
I don't have all the information to draw a conclusion as to "what" specifically transpired there, but just because someone has no weapon doesn't mean they're not dangerous. The kid could've rushed him, picked up a rock, anything. You're never going to understand how these kind of situations go down while you sit behind a computer screen judging people you've never met, over incidents neither you nor anyone else really saw. This isn't a video game, people behave strangely when under this kind of stress.
