Depends on where you live. But their service is pretty shitty in a lot of parts in the country from what I hear.
Also, going over to MacRumors, it's quite interesting seeing how their opinions are just copies from what Apple thinks. Over there, you have a community that hates Blu-ray, USB3.0, and Flash, just because of what Steve Jobs thinks.
Now they also all hate Verizon because Android phones are on it.
Next time you get into a "You Rage You Lose" thread, just paste a link to their forums.
what do they feel about Display Port and HDMI?
Sorry but after seeing Android 3.0 in action, I'm never going to turn my head towards an Apple product unless it's provided for me, I'm not a pretentious trendy-douchebag that sits around in Starbucks sipping on coffee while surfing the internet on my MacBook Pro.
as of the time of posting, Android 3.0 is a tablet OS, maybe you mean Android 2.3?

Please don't generalize Apple users. Sure, some of them may do that but most aren't. With that logic, all Windows and Linux users are nerds who play video games all day. This is also not true.
And yes, webOS tablets will be much better than Honeycomb.
The iPhone is sold Unlocked here in Canada. I don't know why the US bothers with only a single carrier, It seems like a complete waste of money.
And now here we go again, before the iPhone AT&T was bearable. Now Verizons network will be bogged down with iPhone users. Then move to Sprint, this will go on until Apple sucks the life out of the networks.

Canada :3:
Can I talk and surf the web at the same time?
No. Your data connection will break every time you receive a call, so no internet surfing or video while talking.
Hhahahahah faggots
well great too bad I won't ever get one ever
wonder if i could change phones midway through a plan
would need a job first though
Sounds like it isn't that great compared to the AT&T's...
Not the point, bud
Nobody's all that worked up over Verizon getting the iPhone
Haha, then maybe you live in a small ass city or something because it seems everybody hates AT&T and has been waiting for a Verizon iPhone since 2007.

I don't know, it's not discussed at all. Apple uses both, so...
Oh boy... I bet AT&T is PISSED right now.

I mean the platform as a whole, Android's latest version is still Android, tablet-based or not, it'll be on phones within Q2-Q3, just like the iPhone/iPad, there will be versions that are scaled for use, the email client on a Droid will look much different than on a Xoom.
I see ATT's market share decreasing. A lot.
Yesterday would have been a good day to:
-sell AT&T stock
-buy VZW stock
BYE AT&T SUBSCRIPTION

After your two year contract expires :byewhore:
AT&T is fucked unless they do something about it.

probably not - as per google, one is designed for smartphones, the other is designed for tablets. in google's opinion, any tablet running a version of android intended for a smartphone isn't a tablet, rather it is a large awkward smartphone.
Well, obviously you used it and clearly you're a professional on this stuff. /sarcasm
Why yes I did(minus the professional part), My old iPod 4g had a accelerometer that kept turning off at random times (I sent it to apple, they gave me a new one with the same problem) My friend with an iPhone 4 has the same problem + the shitty connection issues.
I dunno, Without data and calling that will hold me back cause the only difference between the two is The coverage and I'm rarely ever on the phone I aways Text or use data. I've never had a problem with AT&T's service in the Westerchester/NYC area (Where i live) so i'm good with it
Didn't they made fun of Iphone/AT&T with a commercial?

I know it was targeting 3GS, but still an apple product.
I heard Verizon will let existing customers upgrade to the iPhone and pay the reduced price regardless of whether or not they are eligible for an upgrade. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

You can use a New Every Two credit to upgrade, but I don't think you can just get it reduced if you're not eligible for an upgrade.

Oh damn, I hate all these locked cell-phones.
All phones should be sold unlocked.
(as in, you can use any sim card you want)

Then they would cost a fuckton more.

You can, except you are going to be paying some serious cash. Unlocked phones are sold, but without that carrier subsidy, they cost a bunch.
Wait until it gets fixed up and all the problems are gone. The HTC Incredible is still the best phone on Verizon's market right now.
