I feel like we're in for some serious shit after this election. Regardless of who becomes president
http://www.theonion.com/article/will-be-end-trumps-campaign-says-increasingly-nerv-52002 sums up my feelings better than anything else
I feel like we're in for some serious shit after this election. Regardless of who becomes president
And this is what it all comes down to. If Trump wins - America takes steps towards fascism. If he loses, what happens? Somehow I don't think all of his rabid supporters are just going to go home. If Bernie wins, I feel as if they might tear America apart right down to the floor-boards just so he can't have it.

Shit, he's literally unstoppable now.
Y'know when he first announced he was running for president, I thought it was pretty much a publicity stunt and he'd drop out a quarter of the way. Boy was I wrong.
Y'know when he first announced he was running for president, I thought it was pretty much a publicity stunt and he'd drop out a quarter of the way. Boy was I wrong.
pretty sure everyone was relying on the fact that he will probably get shit on in the general election but yea prob gonna be wrong on that one 2
What?

What is this in reference to?
P sure they mean Benghazi
Y'know when he first announced he was running for president, I thought it was pretty much a publicity stunt and he'd drop out a quarter of the way.
Y'know when he first announced he was running for president, I thought it was pretty much a publicity stunt and he'd drop out a quarter of the way. Boy was I wrong.
just thought it was a joke, he'd say something political suicide worthy, drop out and never heard of again
pretty sure everyone was relying on the fact that he will probably get shit on in the general election but yea prob gonna be wrong on that one 2
The polls are saying he won't. [editline]24th January 2016[/editline]
FUCK. I knew trump is bad. I wasn't expected this bad
Did you read the article? He never said he was going to, he said he could. He knows he has a loyal fanbase, that alone does not make him bad.
I mean if this was in a trailer park he'd lose one
Remember when he said he'd "close up the internet" and everybody said that would be the end for him? Here he is saying he could shoot somebody and there is no indication that he's slowing down. What a mad man.
Sometimes I wonder if we're reliving the Weimar republic, as outrageous as it sounds. I dont like where this is going at all.
I would like Mr. Trump to verify his claims.
He didn't say he would do it, he just said he could do it.
Thanks for clearing that up
I expect him to shout "I'm fucking invincible" next.
The polls are saying he won't.
You should probably check the polls again, since they say the exact opposite. https://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1502307
What?
"BENGHAZI! BENGHAAAAAAZI!" -Warcry of the Uninformed Voter [editline]25th January 2016[/editline]
Remember when he said he'd "close up the internet" and everybody said that would be the end for him? Donald Trump's entire campaign is built around manufacturing fear and outrage among racists and xenophobes. After his comments about special Muslim ID badges, rapist Mexicans, full scale monitoring of mosques, mass deportations, and even targeted killings of entire families of Muslims associated with terrorist organizations, making ignorant comments about how the internet functions failed to even raise my eyebrows.
I like how he considers this a good thing. Actually no that's terrifying.

People like Trump because he's a strong leader (says controversial things confidently) and an outsider, he offers simple solutions to complex problems. He's stupid, so are his voters, but, believe it or not, all the world's problems aren't caused by "THE RAAACIISTSS!!1!" If such a large percentage of our population really wanted a Muslim holocaust, we would have had one by now.
Trump isn't stupid, that is the mistake everyone is making. He's actually a genius. He's not gaining ground in spite of his declarations, he is gaining ground because of them. He carefully thinks about his statements before giving them, and it's working because he's always on the headlines. He could turn up at the podium next week, declare that he'll literally dismantle democracy in favour of an autocrat, and the crowds would go wild.

at least Trump is honest about it

He's managing to hit several other (related) demographics too, sure, but it is straight up impossible yo deny that he isn't very deliberately appealing to a particular subset of voters with the shit that comes out of his mouth. A cornerstone of his campaign is manufacturing outrage against minorities, especially Muslims and immigrants. I don't want to say that ANYBODY who supports Trump's presidency is a racist themself, but I will gladly say that anybody who supports Trump's presidency must at least accept that they are directly supporting a regime that deliberately targets and scapegoats minorities for political gain.

Anyone stupid enough to support Trump's presidency is a fascist bigot. Trump doesn't beat around the bush, why should we
The biggest tragedy is that Rand Paul is pretty much going unnoticed. He's basically the only sensible Republican running, I wouldn't even mind seeing him in office.
I'll say it. Anyone stupid enough to support Trump's presidency is a fascist bigot. Trump doesn't beat around the bush, why should we
Two flaws in your argument: 1. Someone doing something you dislike doesn't mean you do the same back 2. Binary distinctions in a social context is extremely stupid
Two flaws in your argument: 1. Someone doing something you dislike doesn't mean you do the same back 2. I'm pretty sure he's a bigot.
Two flaws in your argument: 1. Someone doing something you dislike doesn't mean you do the same back
He called Mexicans 'rapists' and it's bad that I call him a bigot? At least one of us is telling the truth (hint: it's not him)
