Jesus Christ, in a huge open area, you can't smell shit.
Yeah smoking outside is fine. Anyone who smokes inside is disgusting because the smell gets everywhere and that's a big disrespect to whoever owns the place. [editline]4th February 2011[/editline] Course you can smoke all you want if you own it.
Second hand smoke outside? Oh no Better ban vehicles too And factories And fire Think for once in your life, then resume posting Actually no never resume posting please
Pretty much this. If you're worried about second hand smoke in the outdoors, you shouldn't be living in a city, or next to any place that has a fair amount of traffic. Is it that difficult to move a couple meters and not have tar build up on the walls?
Jeez, just let smokers smoke.
I violently cough and have a very hard time breathing for hours even when I walk anywhere near someone who's smoking for just a second. I support this movement entirely. If you want to smoke, do it at home. Others shouldn't have to suffer because of someone else's choices.
Good, it's fucking disgusting.
Good, it's fucking disgusting.
I'd rather have my rooms window shattered in the winter for one day than have someone smoke in the room for one day. Actually with a shattered window I'd get some fresh air in there... lets go for 0 degrees balls gone cold winter.
Ban cigarettes, legalize weed, allow smoking everywhere
I violently cough and have a very hard time breathing for hours even when I walk anywhere near someone who's smoking for just a second.
How do you manage when you walk through a garage or traffic? [editline]5th February 2011[/editline]
Ban cigarettes, legalize weed, allow smoking everywhere
I'd rather tobacco than cannabis.
But even if you own the place, I don't think that you should. Is it that difficult to move a couple meters and not have tar build up on the walls?
I wouldn't either but hey more power to them.
Don't you guys get it? The government is supposed to tell us what we can and cant put in our bodies because the government knows best. Also those smelly smokers are making me annoyed so we should throw them in jail or make them pay us money for standing around and sticking those fucking death sticks in their mouths. Lets just make a law that puts everyone in jail who does anything I don't like.
The "harm" that second hand smoke poses is so greatly over exaggerated to the extent that anti-smokers would have you believe that it would kill every man, woman, and child within a 200 foot radius of where you are smoking. Do some research before you believe horse-shit colloquialisms spun every half hour on cable TV by [sp]law firms actively attempting to sue tobacco companies[/sp]
It's called second hand smoke buddy.
It's called biased research buddy. When you are doing research that is greatly influenced by variables, those variables are often going to come out in favor of the people funding the research. [editline]5th February 2011[/editline]
I violently cough and have a very hard time breathing for hours even when I walk anywhere near someone who's smoking for just a second. You're not having a reaction, you're simply neurotic. Hoenstly, I can't stand people like you who go into these stilted, obnoxious coughing fits every time a wisp of smoke goes by them.
I can understand you guy's position, i mean i have my own habits that are hardly that healthy (namely a fondness for mountain dew). That said, second hand smoke has been proven to cause cancer, so while smokers should have the right to do whatever they want, they should only do it where there are no non-smokers imho. So getting it out of times square should be a good thing for everyone who is not a smoker, especially those who have bad allergies such as myself.
[citation needed] It can be strongly linked to cases of things in high doses, like, life time exposure to it, but... just no. There's no fucking way to prove that. You can get rid of any genetic and other life caused variables and limit it to smoke? I didn't think so buddy
When i want to smoke, i'll go a few meters away from everyone else and watch into which direction the wind is moving. After i finish smoking, i chew gum. If people ban smoking in some areas, then it's ok. But here in Finland they are trying to ban smoking completely in the whole fucking country...

We smoke because its the only legal thing that lets you relax and clear your head for even a moment. [editline]5th February 2011[/editline] here's hoping they legalize cannabis here this year, it's a lot healthier than smoking and even more so than alcohol
It's called second hand smoke buddy. Edit: And they aren't banning it, just stopping you from smoking where there are thousands of other people and a park, I mean who the hell wants smokers in a park (besides smokers)?
Yeah woo second hand smoke in an outdoor environment. durrrrr
if you need to pump smoke into your lungs in order to relax there's something wrong with you
Well I can't exactly go for a walk when at work, can I? Also, there's nothing wrong with people who smoke you ignorant tool
if you need to pump smoke into your lungs in order to relax there's something wrong with you
Nicotine isn't a relaxing drug or anything. No no.
not to mention cigarettes are completely harmless and don't affect anyone nearby
Stop having sand in your cunt. Smokers gonna smoke, deal with it [editline]5th February 2011[/editline] Did you know that 100% of the non-smoking people die but only 86% of the smoking people? 14% of the smokers become Gods
Not a smoker and I'm all for indoor smoking ban. In parks, perhaps in certain areas where the kids are mostly around, maybe with higher littering ticket. But banning it there is completely retarded.
We had a CO test at school one dude had quit smoking 2 weeks ago, and had lower values than a guy who doesn't smoke, but comes to school with bike every day
stop having sand in your cunt. non-smokers gonna be annoyed by smoke, deal with it
Okay :v:
not to mention cigarettes are completely harmless and don't affect anyone nearby
So you really do think that extremely negligible amounts of cigarette smoke are going to cause health issues. Alright. We should team up and ban car exhaust, together. I'll contact my representative immediately, it's been too long that car owners have been allowed to affront my senses and health with their dangerous cancer exhaust. Ever walk behind a car and get lung-full of exhaust? I know that's gonna kill me faster, I just know, and I'm scared. Not to mention it's an affront to my senses. Fucking smug car drivers driving near where I'm walking, thinking they're cool. This has been a long time coming, and I'm glad we'll be able to take them down together. Oh, what's that? You can deal with car exhaust? :frogbon:
Shouldn't have to breathe in that horrible smell and shit whenever you want to go somewhere. You can't do Jack fucking SHIT without breathing in someone's cigarette smoke... I can't even sit in my own house without smelling the shit from the people who stand outside their houses and smoke
Too bad they smell like shit and act like such smug cocks about their chemical addiction that kills them.
You're the one acting like a smug cock cuntbag :D
Shouldn't have to breathe in that horrible smell and shit whenever you want to go somewhere. You can't do Jack fucking SHIT without breathing in someone's cigarette smoke...
Wow what a gigantic exaggeration.
people get a lot more health issues from car exhausts than smokes, but seemingly Talon has issues with people who smoke, probably bullied by them or something.
I violently cough and have a very hard time breathing for hours even when I walk anywhere near someone who's smoking for just a second. I support this movement entirely. Hey you know what's dumb banning things.
Wow what a gigantic exaggeration.
Indeed. I just love that so many people opposed to smoking are self proclaimed "liberals" that talk about how people should have their own free will and such. Oh, and this guy smokes. People who are true liberals don't smoke themselves for health reasons but don't care what other people do to their body.
