Since humans are cognitive beings natural selection is not as relevant. I can't believe some people still believe this shit.

Wow, do you know what you're talking about? The only way you can shoot someone in your home is if they don't back off when you draw a gun, or they already are carrying a weapon. I live in Minnesota, I know this for a fact. Most states have a castle law from the old times, but often today they're overlooked and you're still going to be slapped with a charge.

Not true. I live in this state, and we have no death penalty.
I just want you to justify murder. Do it morally and ethically. How does burglary = murder? Please do explain this.

I think he's referring to states with some sort of castle law.

Being a mass murderer itself is a mental problem. it's called being a sociopath. anything beyond that is the icing on the cake

And if they don't and you shoot and ultimately kill them that still means that burglary is a death sentence regardless.

And that's stops you from from killing a intruder under the Castle Doctrine how?

not all mass murderers are sociopaths

What? Do you even understand what I'm saying?
A guy breaks into your home, with no weapons
He grabs your favorite golf clubs and runs towards the door.
You appear from behind, and say nothing, and shoot him in the head.
You think this is okay? That this is justified in some sick way?
To clarify, I would pull out a weapon (if I had one) and announce my presence, and tell him to freeze. If he kept running, I personally probably wouldn't shoot but if I did, it would be in the leg or something.
here's one source Emperor:
http://www.ncjrs.gov/pdffiles1/jr000248c.pdf
Most attackers engaged in some behavior prior to the incident that caused concern or indicated a need for help. In more than half of the cases, the attacker’s behavior caught the attention of more than one person. Behaviors that led others (e.g., school officials, police, fellow students) to be concerned included those related to the attack, such as efforts to obtain a gun. But they also included behaviors not clearly related to the attack. More than three-fourths of the attackers threatened to kill themselves, made suicidal gestures, or tried to kill themselves before their attacks. In one case, a student wrote several poems for English class that involved themes of homicide and suicide as possible solutions to feelings of hopelessness. School authorities ultimately determined that his was a family problem and did not intervene. He later went to school and killed two people. Many attackers had a history of feeling extremely depressed or desperate. A significant problem in preventing targeted violence is determining how best to respond to students who are already known to be in trouble. This study indicates the importance of giving attention to students who are having difficulty coping with major losses or perceived failures, particularly when feelings of desperation and hopelessness are involved.
It's not murder, it's homicide, Murder is unlawful homicide.
Also if some jackass enters a cave and are mauled by a Bear, who do you blame, the bear, or the idiot who entered it's den?

Why should your punishment of death differ from the law's punishment of years in prison?
Bears aren't cognitive beings, a terrible example.
Differences between GOLFING and SHOOTING.
1. Shooting is actually FUN
2. Shooting doesn't require a membership to a country club, or having to pay 100 bucks for a round.
3. There is no dress code involved for shooting, for golf you need slacks and collared shirts, which aren't very comfortable in hot weather.
4. Golf is generally a retiree sport, where shooting at a gun range is fun for everyone.

it's called justifiable homicide and that is a terrible comparison

Well I wouldn't shoot him as most Castle Doctrines don't allow shooting someone in the back, now If I walked into my hallway and see him with golf clubs (Which are ready weapons) and he's standing there like a deer in headlights I might shoot him, if he makes a sudden move without saying anything, then I will shoot him, most likely a killshot due to these asshole ambulance chasing lawyers who sue you for tens of thousands of dollar if you simply wound the dickhead who broke into my apartment which is why most cops say to kill the asshole dead if he's in your house.
1. Shooting is actually FUN
subjective
2. Shooting doesn't require a membership to a country club, or having to pay 100 bucks for a round.
some places only allow members, and shooting can be pretty expensive. if you shoot 200 rounds of 9mm then that's ~$50 just for the ammo alone. you also have the gun, mags, hearing protection, targets, etc.
3. There is no dress code involved for shooting, for golf you need slacks and collared shirts, which aren't very comfortable in hot weather.
except you really shouldn't be wearing flip flops for example
and girls shouldn't be wearing shirts with cleavage
it's for safety
4. Golf is generally a retiree sport, where shooting at a gun range is fun for everyone.
and you base that on what? people of all ages play golf
I don't think I'd want a 10 year old at a gun range while if he wanted to golf it wouldn't matter

Ugh. Let me give you another example.
In the US, everyone is guaranteed representation in law, to be treated fairly. Everyone, no matter how haenus their crimes, is given a lawyer.
This man broke into your house. He gets no lawyer, you just decide for him that he will die.
It's hardly justifiable homicide when the man is unarmed, and not threatening your life.
and he's standing there like a deer in headlights I might shoot him
not cool bro
someone standing there looking at you with some golf clubs in their hand doesn't really justify you shooting them
now if they started to come at you and shit then that's a different story
Didn't we have this same argument last night? lol in the news.
Because ya can't shoot golfballs at socialist terrorist liberals goshdernit

sgt. sgt. thinks you can just gun down someone solely if they break into your home

you said he has golf clubs asshole, golf clubs can easily be used as a weapon
Also how the fuck do I know if he's armed or not, for all I know he has a knife in his pocket or a gun in his waistband, and considering the fact he woke my ass up, I won't be in the mood to go to any extra-lengths to make sure.

That's why I said I might shoot him, considering nobody wants to have to deal with all the blood and damages that comes along with shooting someone with buckshot along with telling the police why you were justified and the fact it would suck if you shot someone just to find out he had nothing on him.
Also to be clear, if he just drops my shit, I won't shoot him but I'll hold him at gun point.
I've fired rifles before in training. Well, rifle. The C7.
I don't like it at all. Oh, it feels great when you feel it kick against your shoulder and see a nice neat hole appear in the center of your paper target's chest, but I use it with care and only handle it when I absolutely must.
Stereotypical NRA members, many of whom are decades older than me, don't seem mature enough to appreciate a gun for what it is. Modern firearms are tools that have been designed and perfected for one and only one purpose - to kill. Whether hunting rifle, machine gun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, machine pistol, SMG or handgun, they were made to kill another human being or animal in the most efficient, messy way possible.
But no, to most of the people in the NRA, it's all about making them feel more badass.
Just a poorly veiled attempt to compensate for their poor sex lives. They must all have tiny penises or be impotent.
Well okay then.

To be fair, you can in most states as long he doesn't have 26 gunshot wounds to his back and he's not laying halfway out your front door.

You sound like a hick. Do you know what it means to die? I think once you get a bit older and recognize your own mortality, you'll think twice about how important lives are, instead of caring more about blood stains than the actual person.

Dude I recognize my mortality every single fucking day, that why I would never fucking break into a house since you never know if the person who lives inside has more guns then teeth and a itchy trigger finger, and a extreme lack of trigger discipline.
Also as I said, It would suck to find out you killed a unarmed person
